Hypertough 23qt Oil Drain Pan (Walmart)

Can’t recommend this oil drain pan I picked up at Walmart, without reading any reviews, enough!! It says it will hold 23 qts but they are really underselling it. It will in fact hold over 34 Qts as it’s designed so poorly half the oil ends up on the ground!! :mad:
    Really didn’t look at it very closely before using it, the top actually slopes slightly away from the drain holes!!! Splashed oil all over my wheel and suspension and fully half of it ran over the sides and onto the ground. :thumbsup: Got a good mind to return it with the small amount of used oil it managed to catch still inside.

    A 4 gallon bucket works well. Preferably, one with a screw top like used for pool chemicals.

    I happened to have a gallon of pour-n-restore I had bought on clearance a few years back. After I soaked up all the oil with cat litter I applied it to the stained area over night. Swept it up and hosed it off... it removed 90% of the stain!! I was impressed! Not sure how it works on older stains but really knocked out a fresh one. Kida pricy tho at $40 a gallon. But $40 vs your wife killing you in your sleep, maybe worth it?

    Same here. I dump it before the fluid level gets to the big red drain cap though. I don't trust it not to leak.
