    6” lift kit. Icon 2.5 coil overs. Icon 2.0 rear shocks. +3 cb shackles. AAL.
    D7F1E953-7A45-4ACC-A9D4-771576D7575E.jpg I’m currently on oem springs. With a 3” block, AAL, and using cb +3 shackle. I’m certain my leaf springs are worn out and I want to get rid of that spacer under the leafs. What is a fairly affordable setup? And do I just look for springs with the same amount of lift as the block provided? 8D7E5306-B497-4464-AB9E-BBE22D42647E.jpg

    I picked up my Icon RXT leaf packs from Ebay for $700 a few months ago. That seemed like the best bang for the buck when I was searching.

    They only have one option! And then when you get it, you can adjust it to fit your needs

    Hard to tell from that photo, but your springs don't look too bad to me. Unrelated question, what are those tires you're sitting on? I like them!

    I'm surprised your Alcans failed so quickly. Alcan is one of THE go to places for custom springs. Alcan is a stones throw from Moab and a lot of their springs have passed the Moab test many times over on all kinds of 4X4s. Up till now have only seen positive reviews with Alcan users. I have heard that customer service could kick it up a few notches. They are busy but no excuse.

    I have my icon pack at 4" with a +1 shackle. Its a little stiffer than stock, but not bad at all compared to some lifted rigs I've driven

    Just curious as to what is failing on the Alcans? I'm finding lots more positive reviews than negative. Actually quite popular and great reviews over on TacomaWorld. I know that getting the desired height can be iffy and have seen where new sets had to be shipped out with different leafs. That would suck for sure.

    Yeah, I haven't read about any Alcan failures and the leaf packs they made for my T100 & Tundra never let me down.

    Not easy to find negative reviews on Alcans. Extremely easy finding positive reviews. Anything can fail. Alcan has been supplying custom springs for serious off roaders for a long time and has a very good rep. Their website is chock full of their custom built springs on all kinds of rigs. Ideally the thing to do is actually go there if feasible. For us front range CO folks it's only 3 hours or so to Grand Junction. Once there you can get the springs custom fitted and get any adjustments done. A true custom fit that few offer.:thumbsup:

    I would check out the Icon RXT on Option 3. If you do not carry a lot of weight it should give you the height you are looking for.

    Our Utah members are even closer. Grand Junction is not far from Utah border. Wouldn't be surprised if Utah is one of Alcan's largest customer base.

    Either way, a lift spring of the proper height will be better than a combo of blocks and add a leaf etc

    I have mine at 4 too, but with a +3 shackle! I’m lifted on a 7in bds! And with completely removing the block and adding the new leaf pack! It doesn’t bottom out like before and handles weight greatly!
