I see now. Theses are Rock Warrior wheels. I just didn’t recognize them in all black.

35x12.5x17 is a standard size. That will work just fine. You may have to do some minor trimming and you'll need the correct alignment. Let me know when you get to that point

Whoever says 295/70/18 is too small on a 9" wheel doesn't know what they're talking about.

Here's how they look like on a Tundra.

What’s your budget? I would say just get the 2.5 foxes all around to start off with even with stock leafs and UCA’s, they do just fine for what you’re doing. I have Kings 2.5’s all around and blasted through some desert washboard roads where tanks drive on base and Barstow’s rough desert roads and they do just fine, even on 32” tires on 20” wheels. I will eventually go to 17” method 313’s with 33” Cooper St Maxx’s but for now I’m happy with my current setup. You don’t need everything you’ve mentioned to enjoy those trails, you’re already doing good with proper suspension setup and I’m assuming your truck came with 18” wheels per the off-road version so it has decent sidewall. Start off easy and add on as you enjoy your truck and find what you know it needs.

Fox 2.5 /w DSC CO’s and Rear Shocks, Total Chaos UCA’s, 17” Rock Warriors /w 35 12.5 17 BFG AT KO2’s, Powerstop Rotors and Pads Front And Rear and The stereo is really nice.
I don’t think I was concerned about the money. It’s been planned since I got the truck last September. Mainly I was just overloaded with information. This thread was to get input on the direction I had decided to go. Fox factory 2.5 CO’s upfront with TC UCA’s, Fox factory 2.5 rear shocks /w bypass. TRDRock Warrior 17” wheels with BFG 35x12.5x17 tires. I will get that installed and fine tune from there. Not much of a level at a time guy. This seems to be a setup that will straddle the line between full on and full off road. But, I will let you know. Build thread to follow.

So, whatcha got with a 50mm offset?

My own wheels have a 50mm offset, these TRD rock warrior wheels I am considering have a 50mm offset.

While your wheels are amazing and they were at the top of my list, I just couldn’t get over having to chop my cab to run them.

You bet. Thanks again for the direction. Looking forward to getting it done.

Agreed I’m running a 9” wheel with 295s perfect combo. I have 0 offset and almost positive I can fit 35s without chopping the cab mount
