6” lift kit. Icon 2.5 coil overs. Icon 2.0 rear shocks. +3 cb shackles. AAL.
I have a 6” lift on my tundra, coilovers in the front with 1” shims, and a 3” block in the rear with icon 2.0 shocks. CB steering kit and all the other stuff. I recently added a coachbuilder +3 shackle and ran into a major issue. The vendor I bought everything from told me they’ve sold this setup to 200+ tundra owners and never had the issue I’m having. Which is now that the shackle is installed, I have hardly any down travel. Aka shocks fully extended And slight bumps just bang the whole bed of the truck. He hasn’t offered any resolution or a fix. After looking around I can’t find anyone that has done custom rear shock relocations on a tundra, but it is pretty popular with Tacoma’s.

Has anyone done this before and able to offer any insight? All help would be appreciated. I know I can get custom shocks made but I’d like to use what I have since they’re brand new.

What is the max lift on the icon shocks? I thought they only made 1.5 inch and 6 inch lift shocks

The shocks I have are for 0-3”. So I believe I was lied to by the vendor when he said it would work, since there is a 3” block, AAL, and now 1.25” more height from the shackle. There are shocks for 6”, which is what he should’ve sold to me. So now I have what I have and I want to make them work

Only way to fix the issue is to buy the correct stroke shock. Sell your current shocks to help recoup some of the money.

You’re going to spend money relocating the shock mounts. Gonna need to strip down the leaf packs and measure travel etc. waste of time and money for the application. Just sell your shocks and buy new ones

Call icon and get some options. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I've read on here, from icon that you can send them your shocks and they'll put an extension or do something for trucks with a lift if you ever change your truck. Wouldn't hurt to ask the company themselves instead of whichever dealer misled you on your parts.
