    Hey Guys!

I have been wanting to manage a group buy and I think I may have found a vendor that a lot of us have been seeing more and more of so what better way to get them involved with our forum than a group buy.

They offer custom light mounts, push bard and are willing to incorporate that into this group buy. Their front and rear bumpers can incorporate the 2018+ proximity sensors in the front and rear bumpers.

Retail pricing starts as listed below: (this will be a tiered group guy-the more people to get in on it the higher the discount). *Prices include powder coat and installation if local (Southern California)*

    **Group-Buy Open 5/27-6/14**

    Front Bumper w/o Valence $1250
    Front Bumper w/ Valence $1450
Add $100 for push bar and light mounts/tabs on front bumper
    Rear Bumper $1400

Once Closed, 50% of purchase will be due in-order to start fabrication, after completion of fabrication, the balance will be due (as well as any freight/shipping costs if not local and/or picking up).

    Participant List w/ Custom Options
For now I am working to get a head count of those who would like to participate in the group buy and which products you are interested in. Please only reply with your name if you are serious about this as this is the only way we can get an accurate discount for the group.

Check out their instagram: SS Built Inc.

    6/2/19 Update
**I know that there were multiple questions that came up this past week and I apologize for the delay in getting the answers you guys wanted. I spoke with Steve and Alin on the phone Friday to run through some of the more asked questions and will be meeting them in the morning to finalize the pricing tiers that they are willing to offer-Please see below for the Q&A's I was able to get answered**

    Shipping and Installation costs?
SS Built will work with their shipping broker to get quotes at the time of shipment but did let me know that in the past, the shipping costs have ranged from $150 to $300 depending on location.

The "installation" that is included in the price is something that SS Built has taken upon themselves to provide to the customers that purchase bumpers from them. They are a small shop and are still working to grow and they know and feel that the best way to do that is to offer the installations when purchasing their products (top notch if you ask me). In their minds, it ensures that the products they make and stand by are installed and fit up as designed.

Can the SS Built (Evil Mfg.) Rear brake light be included in the group buy?
Yes was the answer I received. They can have KC Cyclones or Baja Designs S2 installed and pre-wired for installation. (Costs will be at a fixed discount rate - will update with % 6/3/19 after the meeting)

What light mounts are included in the group-buy, and can a light bar be incorporated into the valence?
SS Built is a custom fabrication shop, with that being said, they are open to incorporating any light mount that each customer would like. If you are wanting to have a light bar incorporated into the valence, or attached to the push bar, we will either need the light on hand or it would need to be a light that SS Built stocks (Baja Designs).

If you are purchasing a front bumper, I ask that you DM me directly and let me know what kind of light set up you are wanting to install (tabs for XL's or LP6, or a 30" light bar). This will help me update my spread sheet with exact details for each bumper that SS Built will be fabricating.

Sliders for 2nd and 3rd Gen?(Separate GB Following the Completion of this GB)
Sliders are in development and Steve and Alin have time set aside this month to mock up some designs. I confirmed we will be teaming up to host a launch group-but for those as well. Stay tuned.

    Winch Mount?
They can most likely incorporate the winch mount into the bumper. Steve and Alin would need the winch make/model and specifications to make a mount and fit it up.

Bull Bar off the top of the bumper?
Yes-absolutely can incorporate this into the orders. DM me specifics as we get close to closing out.

    Blind Spot sensors?
These have not been incorporated into their bumpers. They are currently only able to relocate the proximity sensors front and rear.

    Pricing Tiers?
    1-10 Bumpers = 10% Discount
    11-20 Bumpers = 15% Discount
    20-25 Bumpers = xx% Discount
Combo Bumper Package = 20% Discount
Rear Brake Assembly(4 KC Cyclones Included) = $320 wired and installed if local / Add Shipping (+$10)

I’ll add ya to the list. And yes they’re in So Cal and will install for you as well. I’m going to be meeting with the guys later this week to go over light mounts and push bars as well as some other things so keep your eyes out on this thread as more info will be coming.upload_2019-5-29_5-32-25.png

I will ask them but from my past conversations with them the install is included in the bumper cost.

I got one of thier front bumpers a couple months ago. At the time, install was included with the price. For those needing it shipped, since they weren't installing, they knocked some $ off.

I had Steve do some custom work on mine... full length steel skid, light mounts, etc and he was awesome to work with. Talked back and forth before/during and sent a ton of pictures to make sure I got what I wanted before driving down. Enjoyed it enough that I've got him building me one of his rears with a few custom touches.

Something for everyone to keep in mind, to get the most ground clearance and approach/departure angle, there is some minor cutting involved. You also need to relocate the power steering cooler but its minor/easy work.

Give these guys a big thumbs up.

That first picture of the rear is a 2nd gen rear. Steve and Alin are really good people there! A really strong team cranking out these bumpers and a whole lot of them too!

Also what rear brake light housing are you referring to? As far as I know I don't see or haven't heard of them making brake light housing. I do know they sell the Evil Manufacturing led rear third brake light setup

I will be checking with them to see if they would like to offer the evil brake light housing in the group buy.

They are top notch guys and making some beautiful products indeed. Hoping we can get this group buy to some size and make it work for all of us.

Thanks for this. Yes they are bolt on but you’re right some minor cutting on the front bumper to get the most clearance. With them doing installs, this wouldn’t be worry. If they do shipping I will work to get some install instructions for those that will be installing on their own.

Yeah I'll be down for the Evil MFG third brake light setup. I'll probably just get the housing alone instead of the complete kit with the BD lights or KC lights.

Just get the diff skid plates from RCI, that's what I have. When I got the bumper the first time they produced it I had the short version skid for the bumper from SS. Now they are making full length skids to meet up with the RCI diff skid plate.

I mangled mines umm... back in April and they were impressed so I'm getting a new replacement and also the revised full length skid.

The top skid is your diff/trasnfer case skid, that bottom one with the RCI lettering is your bumper skid. That bumper skid will not work with the SS front bumper, they make their own full length skid to meet up with your RCI diff/transfer skid. Better off selling that bumper skid with the RCI lettering cause you wont be able to use it. OR just hang it on the wall for art.

Here is mines with their short bumper skid plate. You can see the exposed gap between their short skid plate and the RCI diff/transfer case skid plate. What SS came out with now is a full length bumper skid plate that will go all the way back to meet up with the RCI diff/transfer case skid plate.

I’m not sure how the housings would go on but I’m sure they can weld a tab on to utilize the BD bracket.

Just installed a P&P front skid that I'd hate to be for nothing.
Really like their (SS's) rear bumpers!!

I had the BD fog kit prior to the SS Built bumper. While I'm sure they could have made something to work with the fog bracket, I ended up reaching out to BD and buying the standard mounting brackets. Was $15ish shipped to me. Reused the lights and passed everything else from the fog kit along.
