    Hi all,

I've been reading different boards for about a month on here. Finally decided to make an account. One week ago I made my first new vehicle purchase. I've always been a Tacoma and 4runner fan after having a few. This time around I decided on a Tundra. I'm looking into a 3" lift with wheels and tires at the moment. Top of the list are OME BP-51 with Dakar leaf pack and the Icons stage 8 kit. What are your suggestions on a high quality 3" lift?

4k would be my budget. I'll be mainly on road for the first 5 years with the exception of hunting trips and on mountain roads. I have the original OME lift with dakars on a 4 banger Tacoma and like it alot. The new BP-51s have me curious though for the tundra.

I've gathered enough info on here to know I'll be battling the remote sensor on my 19 tundra. Must keep a rake for it to work correctly. Give me some suggestions.

Looking to decide on the right lift then pick tire size based on what will fit .I'd much rather have 18" wheels rather than these big 20s that came on it.

Just looking to go one step at a time to have it complete by the end of summer. Bend my ear folks.

1E2683DD-A4A2-4616-9D49-194E91C4B756.jpg I have the Toytec BOSS kit with SPC UCA’s, 18x9 Method NV at +25 offset and 295/70/18 Toyo AT2 Extremes. I did the install myself and I am right below your $4k mark. I also left about 3/4 inch of rake in the rear for towing and the cruise control radar and collision sensor. All sensors work fine.

Good to hear all the electronics work with that little of a rake. Newbie question....Is positive or negative offset outside the fender? Think one could clear with 295/70/18s with 0 offset? I don't want all the road grime slinging up on the side of the truck.

0 Offset would still clear but you will get grim all up and down the sides. I would do anything with a +18 to +30 offset. The + offset brings the tires in more into the finder well. This this my +25 offset.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Tad. I know there's plenty of people who run the OME and icon lifts. Where are y'all at? Not ruling out the others, just want opinions.

No problem at all. Both OME and Icon are great options too. Like you I did a lot or research on this forum and tried to get as much information as I could. Good people on here helping others out though their experiences. Feel free to keep asking away!!!

Yeah stage 8 looks awesome. I'd need to know what people's measurements are though since I have to battle cruise and collision radar.

There are a ton of different variables that come into play when picking the correct suspension system for your needs/ wants.

Feel free to shoot me a pm or a call anytime and we can chat more about the differences of each product!

    Thanks
