Agreed, I don't have any of those nannies so I get where your coming from. But most who have it and have grown to rely on it prefer to maintain it from what I've seen. If aftermarket companies can offer it Toyota should be able to as well.

I agree! go OEM! too many problems with the cheap knock-offs! I love my OEMs and they do not vibrate

Buy once, cry once. Just get OEM, you'll spend as much or more then OEM if you get a crappy set of aftermarket mirrors

Ok just installed mine. Truth is original mirrors are better suited. Hard to see using these. Mirror surface size is same as original. Right mirror is zoomed too much. So unless you are towing stick w original mirrors.
2018 sr5 gained turn signals and amber running lights. 13025DB4-C03F-4352-B07D-63C65BD10B63.jpg17007F24-C6BC-49E2-B6E6-E76893F40891.jpg

So you dislike them over factory? I would think the blind spots section would be great. Love your cab lights btw, where did you get those?

Gotcha, I could see them taking some time to get used to. I just bought a travel trailer so I'm in need of the extension now, stock wasn't to bad when towing it home but it should be much better with the tow mirrors.

I am now used to the OEM towing

    Initially I felt:
    1) From the angle you are looking is further away from your vehicle.
    2) Cant easily detect where the other cars are in relation to the space around you.
    3) Mirror on passenger side shows less compared to OEM basic SR5 mirrors.

I bought some like this only black not chrome from Ebay for $190. I like them alot, much more useful seeing as the bottom mirror is convex
