First time towing with the Tundra

    Hauled a Bobcat 330 mini excavator a few days ago. Weighing in at 7400 the Tundra pulled it light a champ!! I installed the P3 brake controll that everyone puts on their Tundra, and loved it. Easy to use and set up. Hardest part was figuring out where to mount it.

    I bought a 2003 4runner limited in December, it only had 39,000 miles when I bought it. She loves it but now I think she is a little jealous of my new truck so I have a feeling she is going to want something new. Maybe a Tacoma

    My Tundra gets better mpg than my Tacoma did. But the 4 runner looks awesome I don't believe I'd give that deal up!!

    You won't even know its back there. Just if you tow on the interstate make sure you use sway bara anything over 60ish you will get trailer sway.

    I also mounted my P-3 there seems to be the best spot on my 2014. I might use velcro which will bring it up 1/2 inch higher. But I can still get at the foot brake if necessary.

    how did your tow go? i am going on my first trup but my 26' only weighs about 5500 loaded....maybe 4400 dry and i do not fill up the tanks. i bet it isnt even 5000 really. i have a recurve wd hitch/sway control....
