I'd like to start off with thanking @iHacker for his wiring harness with DRL dimming. The difference in light projection between the 2016 headlights/foglights and the 2019 LED headlights with 2018 fog lights are significant. I immediately knew it was worth it considering the price. iHacker has a promo code on his page which saves us 20% off shipping. I shopped around and the price on the lights sold by the Toyota dealership @Roman works at, were the lowest I found online. So thank you to Roman as well for the good price. The lights arrived in their original Toyota/Lexus boxes and very well packaged. Shipping took about 4-5 days.

The wiring harness and connectors look EXACTLY like the factory wiring. There is no way to distinguish this wiring harness from the factory wires it runs next to. The written AND video instructions that are provided by iHacker are SPOT ON. Make SURE to use the TWO videos and written instructions that iHacker provides! I made the mistake of only using the written instructions which caused me a major headache when it came to depinning the gray wire. I was doing everything the written instructions said except for lifting the locking tab on the opposite side of plug lol. If I had watched the TWO videos and read the written instructions before starting any of this I would have been done with this entire project in 4 hours instead of finishing the next day lol. It wasn't a big deal as the headlights worked just fine, its just that I didn't have the LED DRL or dimming configuration set up. So I could drive the truck with no issues at night. Here are some before pics along with a factory remote and Viper Remote start/alarm remote functionality test. The second video is a quick operational test.

His harnesses are amazing, better than OEM. You just dont see attention to detail like that anymore. He could easily double his profit margin by skimping and taking shortcuts but he continues to out out a superior product. I can not recommend @iHacker LED Headlight harnesses enough. ☆☆☆☆☆ and A+ product

That's a beauty! No pressure but the 2018 LED fog lights compliment then LED headlight pattern very nicely. Plus you dont have to take off bumper and grill. Complete plug and play.

Oh man do i know! I salivate when I look at them online. Almost bought them the other day but I need to take a breather after doing a full audio upgrade right after the headlights :spending:

Haha audio, my next project! I’ve been putting audio off simply because of price! I think I’ll hold off on it for now. Im hoping 2020 Tundra in-dash with carplay can be swapped out with what we get now. That will definitely be expensive

Im scared what the price tag on that will be. When you do audio hit up Tech12Volts.com. James will make everything as easy as possible for you at a great price! He's the go-to audio guy around here

Looks awesome. Two questions. How do these fogs compare to the Morimoto fogs. And how do you get a harness from ihacker?

Go up 4 posts and you'll see that he liked Doorslingers comment. Click his name and start a conversation. No clue on the fog light differences

did you guys all do the harness that dims the DRL when headlights are on? Is that extra work worth that? I mean is the DRL that blinding at night? Trying to decide which one to buy.

@Jmmtjoy The DRL wont really blind others in my opinion. I went with the Dimming harness because I wanted it to function identical to factory.
If you zoom in on the firewall rubber, you’ll see there is an unused rubber conduit (nipple) specifically to run a cable through. There is even a cut guide line on the rubber. Its only a little hard to fish through that conduit because of the tight space in engine compartment. To make it MUCH easier, I recommend simply cutting the black split loom tubing up to the firewall. Then only fish through red cable. Then on other side (interior of truck) put the excess black split loom back on. This will make fishing through firewall A LOT easier.

Also not sure what configuration you’ll be setting up, but one of the configurations has a red cable coming down from fuse box. The dimming harness doesnt have that. For me it just doesnt look as professional or OEM, but thats just me. Up to you. Dont let the previous comments make you feel as if this is a hard project.

Awesome! Now what will you do with old headlights lol? Mine are literally in the box the 19's came in just collecting dust. I cant stand to look at them any longer. I couldn't post for sale on here seeing as I dont meet the minimum 50 post requirement. I literally am on the hunt for any 3rd gen Tundra in a parking lot to let em know I have the 16 TRD Pro black housing headlights for sale. At this point I will sell for a price where I basically give them away. I just dont want to throw them out as I know they will make another Tundra user much happier than their old headlights.

I'd consider the shipping costs if I were you. They consider the boxes the lights came in as freight. $$$ Consider selling em locally man.

@Jmmtjoy I've shipped a couple headlights in the past, not the cheapest. When you consider how big the boxes are, I think I was somewhere around $75 to ship, maybe more.

If it was close enough It would be ok. Cross country def not worth it. I shipped the old grill in a 61x11x17 box that weighed 35 lbs for $61 to TN from VA.

Definitely the smartest thing to do financially. As much as I preferred the crewmax over the double cab, I went with the double because of the price. Just didnt make sense to me to go with the extreme rear passenger leg room for an extra 5-7k. This coming from a person who bought the truck in cash. To be fair the wife had to reason with me a little to not ditch out the extra 5-7k for the crew max lol.

I came from a F150 with a super cab, and after having that little suicide door in the back i said my next truck was going to be a full size truck. kind of miss the bed space but any one who gets in my back seat is really impressed with the size

That is one thing I would never get tired of, my passengers telling me how impressed they are with the space back there. Unfortunately I went with what made sense to me financially at the time. I cant say I regret it honestly. I was almost jealous of how much more room my rear passengers would have over myself and front passenger. What did you think about the air vents for your rear passengers though? They looked like something out of my old 1993 Honda Civic. Then there is no additional lights for the rear passenger floor areas. Its almost as if Toyota just threw in the extras space, removed the floor storage and stopped there. Well, they did add that amazing rear power window. Looks so bad ass when open. Knowing my OCD, I would always keep it up though to keep all the dust and pollen out. I hate having to dust all the small areas in the instrument panel, gear shift area, dashboard. I love that I rarely have to do it since I keep my windows closed everywhere I go.

invest in an air compressor, great for removing dust in the nooks and crannies, and a good detail brush, fast easy no need for towels or anything.
