Eh. When you just plunge the res you only get out a few ounces. Bleeding drains the MC and the fluid running down the length of the truck. They recommend bleeding every few years but no one does that(myself included). Last step is to get the rear drums dialed in. I still need to figure out how to adjust that parking brake cable. It's on the to-do list.

Trying to think of places I'm not likely to spray the hose. I wash the gas filler area. Guess behind the brake light would work if the lense has a gasket around it. I rinse up, but not with much enthusiasm in the rear 1/4.

I recall on TW someone, maybe @boxrocket did this on a first gen taco. It was loud. I think he only did the intake though. Brought it into the glove box iirc

Funny. I saw your original thread and thought it was a fun colour. But now, out in real lightlight, it looks really good!

I can't remember where you are; and, I've never paid attention to know if they're comparable, but I've got front (and eventually back, but sooner if a forum buddy needs it) bumper take-off's from my '02. Free to good (any) home. Not rusted, would need paint. Check the Banner/ HulkSmash build thread for pics.

    I think that was @Casper421.

Nice. Did you have to do any modification to the mounting bracket? I'd like to have one of these.

Hmm. Wonder what freight shipping would cost on bumpers. Might be worth it for me. I’m up around Chicago. Little bit of distance between us lol

Over the last two weeks I’ve installed new LBJ’s, cv boots, Camburg coilovers, AAL and Fox 2.0 with resi’s. Need to bump the front up but loving the ride. Next up is full fluid change, spark plugs, sway bar and steering rack bushings and stereo install. Need to freshen her up now that she’s over 200k.

I had no idea they made coilovers for our trucks.

    Did you buy these used?

Nope, no modifications. I’ve had them mounted and full loaded since December with absolutely no issues. They’re a great alternative to a bed box.

Both are used. Not sure if the Camburg are tundra specific but the older top hats had mounts for both Tundra/sequoia and 4runner/tacoma.

I got the Fox from a 2nd gen Taco. They were cheap $100, so figured I’d run them, but need to do some flexing to make sure I get the right sized bumps.

I’m guessing you got about 8oz out in that bottle you pictured of your bled lines. I’ve been measuring the suck and resi fills and get 4oz. out.

4 suck and fills out of one 16 oz. Prestone DOT 3 bottle.

Good on ya for bleeding them.

I shipped a front bumper for an 04 double cab to Florida long ago by Fed Ex, it was pretty expensive, around $200. If you have commercial rate or maybe train/greyhound it could be more reasonable.

@FirstGenVol Camburg coilovers are rebadged and tuned Swayaways. I remember hearing they were valved the same as the old TeamWest Swayaways (some shop who special tuned shocks very well) but could be a rumor. Either way they're pretty good.

Eek $200 is a lot for one bumper. I have a commercial address I can send it to. But no deals on shipping anymore.

5100s up front set to 3rd perch (~1" of lift) with stock springs, stock leaf pack with Deaver AAL that gave me 1.5" of lift, and b110 5100s in the rear that are meant for a 6" lift. Tires are 35x12.5x17 on 0mm offset with 1.5" wheel spacer up front

Honesty, I loved my 34s. They cleared nice, still looked big, I didn't need a spacer. But I have always wanted 35s on my truck and my 97 4runner couldn't handle it. So I really wanted 35s for this truck. If I wasn't such girl with *slight* penis envy I would have kept my 34s. But hey, 35s are tits

Fixed weep holes in back window. Been leaking on the very back, right and left sides. Took out rubber channel and unplugged the holes between cab and bed so it could drain properly. Noticed the rubber channel weep holes and the cab weep holes didn't line up so drilled new holes in channel to match.
Been bothering me as i don't want mold....changed air filter, oil, new floor mats and new open road all terrain mazama tires. Its like driving on clouds.

I completely understand. I think part of my issue is I have BFG 34x10.5 so they look smaller due to being so skinny. Always loved my 285/75/17 on my old tundra.
