Chrome Delete Covers for Tundra Bumpers - BumperShellz

I ended up ordering TPO instead of the MGM for front and rear. I recently swapped the grille and hood bulge for the TRD Pro Grille in MGM and saw how faded my 2015 MGM paint was vs the new grille. So it seemed liked TPO would be a better match. Thanks @EC1

I guess I don't understand the desire for TPO. Why would you want your entire bumper to match cheaper looking plastic? Different strokes for different folks I guess. I suppose if I can't get color matched, I'll go with the bed lined version.

 

Agreed. Just pay half the cost and get the chrome bedlined if you want textured black.

 

Hey my shipping cost was 18$ a few hours ago know it's up to $25 what's going in why are the prices changing

 

I guess there was a bug in the way the website was calculating shipping for the single orders where we were eating on average about $8 per order. They fixed the bug, but we're not going to go back through and ask people who have already paid to pay us more. So consider it an extra discount if you got an order in before that was changed, but it is now where it was supposed to be.

 

This is going to sound a little hollow coming from me... but I love the look of the TPO. The monochrome lower half of the truck visually lifts the truck up and makes it look taller

 

CEMENT CONQUERED! After a lot of trips to the Toyota dealership with samples, we've finally found a good variation of Cement that will broadly match the other variations well. I've tried to include a couple pictures so you can see it with different lighting. Our part is the one on the left. It ended up matching the rest of the truck better than the stock painted bumper on this Tacoma.

 

Really hope my cements ship within two weeks!!!! Can’t wait!!!

I couldn’t wait anymore on Super White so ordered from Sparks Parts.

 

Same reason why people want to cover up their chrome. Personal preference. I personally will like the contrast between Silver Sky and the all black bumper. Breaks it up a little. The bed lined version is too textured looking for my tastes and looks more home-brewed than the straight TPO. Again, that’s just my opinion.

Wasn’t much more than what OP is charging for OEM color match with the Tundras.com discount. Just didn’t have the patience anymore....always had an issue with patience though.

 

What are the chances Cavalry Blue will make the minimum cut? I'd be in for front wings.

@EC1 With these bumper caps, does the fog light bezel lip sit flush with the cap (like factory)? I ask because from all the pics I’ve seen, they look sunk/inset behind the cap.

I think as you’ve said, it looks like they kind of lap over the black bezel a little, which is one negative I can see if your truck has a color where the black bezel frame could nicely be seen. I think it may make the fog opening look smaller on light color trucks. It may be the only way they could do it to ensure all the chrome was covered that curls behind the bezel.
