i just picked up a used TRD big brake kit at a killer deal. The guy I bought them off had them taken off in 2017 and have sat in his garage since then. Other than new pads and turning the rotors, should I replace anything else? Not sure if I can re use the braided brake lines or order new ones if I can find the part number. Any advise would be appreciated.

    None, yet....
Lines should be fine. Just check them for abrasion, chafing, bulging, or the braiding coming apart.

For the calipers, just check the slides and and make sure they are not seized or corroded. Replace as necessary. Otherwise, you should be gtg.

Do to the brake fluid sitting on the Caliper while it was off the car, I decided to have them cleaned up, rebuilt and powdercoated bronze to match the 1794. Just waiting to pick them up.

    Very nice.
    1. I"d also suggest you upgrade your brake lines to Stainless steel lines.
    2. When you're actually doing this upgrade make sure you DON'T get any brake fluid on those calipers. If you do wipe and wash it off immediately. Brake fluid eats paint. Don't ask me how I know. :(
    3. Get good rotors drilled and slotted or slotted. I"ve used stoptech on my G sedan and I am very happy with it.
    4. Get good NEW brake pad's
    5. Since you're doing all this you might as well flush your brake fluid
    6. Follow proper bedding procedure. This is very important.
    7. ENJOY :burnrubber:

They are OEM TRD.. made by Stoptech for Toyota. I think you need 20” to run them. Not 100% tho. I have an extra set made up if anyone’s interested.

I may be interested in the extra set if you still have them. I have a 2017 Mica Bronze 1794 I am looking to upgrade my brakes. Pulling my trailer has eaten up my brakes!
