Front Long Travel is installed, smooth install no issues. Next up is the Rear Install, sending out to get Regeared and aligned. Still waiting on the Fiberglass, hopefully its here soon.

Opted for this set up as I need to use the bed for hauling a few times a month. Eventually I’d like to do a full bed cage and bypass shocks, deaver G57... or if I get can afford it, a full link suspension would be my dream.

touche! Where did you get your new steering wheel from and how much was it? The top of mine is smoothed out and just starting to show little cracks at 270k miles. I'd like to get a new one eventually. I had a 2011 crewmax before this truck and steering wheel was showing more wear at 50k miles!!!

Nice! I actually found that one when I did a search right after asking that question. It looks like you have the same gray interior as I do. So the "sandlewood" matches it perfect? I know there is a tan interior color as well.

Thanks, Love your ride. I actually met with Matt at MCM Fab here in Vegas and was about to go with the rear cantilever set up but ended up opting to do a Minipack for now. Question, how are you liking the bed-liner, was painting easy?

Thanks! So far, I'm loving yours too! It's cool we went different ways; fun to learn and compare.

Yes. No. Kind of. I love the "Hulkiliner" now-- it turned out great-- but between the first and second coats, o bought it was gonna be a failure. I did it in shade (last gasp of a broken EZ-up) on a hot day. No problems really. I recommend an extra brush and leaving the stipple rollers for the 2nd coat but, to be fair, doing the first coat with brushes only might be why it looked so terrible.

My tan matches the stock color, but the leather look and stitching on the new wheel is different than the stock wheel. I like it better to be honest though.

Nice so far, like the color too.

Got any more pics of the rear shock set up? I haven't seen anybody successfully run outboard of the frame on a first gen. I thought about it on mine but my tires look too close.

This is all I have at the moment. I can get more pics later today. I am installing wheel spacers on the rear as well. It’ll buy me an extra inch and a half of clearance from the shock. A4F2D04E-2126-4974-B0F4-1A3637DEDE26.jpg

Update! Fenders painted, suspension done. Just working on the custom front bumper and bed mounting. Then alignment and 4.56 Regear.

    Update:

Truck is practically finished, regearing is today, however the paint needs to be redone. Apparently Toyota has more than 1 variant for the red they used on this truck. As you can see the paint doesn’t match. So it’s getting repainted on Monday. The bumper is finished and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Back from the shop, looking pretty sick. I want to raise the front another inch however. Still a lot of small things to do, like wiring the light bar, window tint, alarm, cleaning, mounting the Radio antenna, etc.
