Baja June 6 - 9 there might be some spots available. I'm not organizing this one, but hit me up is ANYBODY is interested.

Some of our trips are stock friendly. Just depends on where we are going. We wheel with all different kinds of trucks.

Let me begin this by stating besides your first couple weeks on here Alex (had to get the tundratalk out of your system), you have been awesome and very helpful to everyone that isn't an ass to you. Hell, even then, you laugh it off. We just had a private discussion about this on your massive wheel BST listing. I get PMs about you helping members over the phone and what not, and how cool you are. Probably didn't know that did you?

I'm willing to bet if there's ever any censorship was in the delivery of the message/reply.

For instance, someone asking about a spacer lift and go fast, is not the best option. In my opinion, it isn't an option for any situation, but what do I know?

Two different ways to approach this:

    1) Dude, you're stupid for even doing this, use the search function you idiot.

    or

    2) Welcome to the site. Check out my build thread and what I did and why. Feel free to PM me or ask questions on the build thread. Here are my recommendations for your set up and budget...

I actually have no idea what this censorship you speak of. Seriously. The SGU is never on my radar at least.

Since so many people want to know details of what went down:

Roypark started a thread, most certainly had a few to many beers, and members in this thread started pushing limits:

-Posting Bible verses. I thought it was funny, but we have rules on this site. Then I get a PM explaining the deleted post about spring sizing and how King shocks labels a spring. It was cute, like I don't know the difference between John 3:16 and 3.16.600.

-Talking about Asians and reverse engineering and making it cheaper. I'm sure Asians love to hear this, and maybe even how they "allegedly" drive like shit. To me, it doesn't matter if the person that said it is Asian. That's on them.

-Someone posted a link to "another" site, that has been known to cause some issues on here and TW. Sorry, but that has to come down.

I deleted the COC violations. No big deal.

Then comments were made about these deleted posts, and I reply banned Roy from his own thread until the morning. I figured not many people were on, he will get the hint, sleep it off. We still had members posting and I closed the thread until the morning. I wanted some sleep and it was well into early Monday morning.

Another thread was started and I shut it down. I had intentions to open back up and merge the two later that day. Who doesn't want to see a full LSK build?

Then this happened: On another site, Roypark was saying he was going to be banned from Tundras. It was recommended from that sites Staff to hurry up and post about their site before he was banned. Roy stated he would do a series of posts inviting people to that site before he was banned.

At that point, he got the ban and the Staff members would figure it out later. I'm going to bed. Now I get a series of PM's and I mistakenly banned KevinK. I made a mistake, and apologized for it, multiple times....and yet again. We are at around 4am.. KevinK was reinstated the next day after we all sorted this shitshow out.

Then I wake up a few hours later and have a series of people sending PM's. SoCal619 asked to be added to the ban list and is leaving. OK. Done. Voluntary, and personally can come back at any time. I didn't ask Bob to delete his account.

Then I click on the next PM from you Alex. I asked if you wanted to stay or go, and it was quite clear on the "go" part. I added you to the list. Voluntary and can come back any time. As soon as KevinK said “Alex and SoCal619 wants to be allowed back”, I lifted both of the bans immediately.

Roypark was reduced from a permanent ban to around 9 days. We think that is more than fair considering what went down. I know your not active on TW, and probably have no idea what's actually been said and went down in the past six months. That's ok. Why would you?

N2deep and Spolar both got vacations for purposely posting political banter. Funny, I even missed it the first time until they quoted themselves on the COC violations.

There was no censorship, but moderation.

I had a few other members that PM'd me and asked what happened (I will leave them out of this, but it was at least 4) instead of what you sent me. Did you see them added to a list? No. If you would have just asked what was going on, I would have told you what was up (most likely), we would have had a laugh like usual and said "nobody likes a drunk monkey" and moved on with our day. Roypark would most likely still be on a short vacation, KevinK wouldn't have had to spend a few days of his own time being a Moderator between Staff and SGU banned members, N2deep and Spolar probably wouldn't have lashed out and did what they did. All this over people not following some simple rules. How is talking about religion, race, and linking a competing site censorship?

Instead, we had a bunch of assumptions of what went on, some snowflake and soft comments, censorship and what not. This is not what I expect out of 30+ year old men on Tundras.

I especially like the combat Marines quote Bruce. If a person lets that soak in for a minute...nice touch.

Again, normally we don't even worry about the SGU crowd. I can only think of one time we had to step in and it was over LT vs. Bracket lifts (that was a fun one, and haven't laughed so hard in a while). It got heated for sure, and the other person is no softy or snowflake. We handled that via PM if I recall. No big deal. Hell, I can't even remember if you were even involved in the PM discusion. They had an opinion, and so did you guys. It really didn't matter to me who I agreed with, but it had to cool down.

I get PM's and quoted posts non-stop about towing. Same shit that the last 500 members looking for that same information. There is no reason I need to be an ass to the person searching for some answers. In fact, I just started a thread and made it a sticky, and link it to most questions. Let them search and learn for themselves. Some people take my advice, some call me "whatever", others do what they wanted to do in the first place and end up spending double the money on a new truck.

If you guys want to start a thread "the art of go fast" or something like that, the Staff members would be happy to sticky it for you and link it to all the newbs asking the same shit the last 500 members did. They can chose to listen to your advice, or not. In reality, it matters not to you. It isn't your ass stuck out in the desert with two broken front shocks.

Being nice to newb's isn't being soft man, it's being a bigger man and taking the high road. Remember, at one time or another, we were all newb's at everything.

Just because some people have experience (usually from bad experiences), doesn't give us the right to downgrade others because of their own lack of knowledge. Stupid should hurt, and often does....I'm good with that. Love to sit back, drink a beer, enjoy the fireworks after someone that totally ignored my advice finds out the hard way.

It would be a huge benefit to everyone.

We can even lock it for read only, and update whenever you feel like new tech is available. I left mine open and just clean out when needed (which you can ask one of us to do for you).

I have a teenage daughter so I’ve learned to enjoy children’s movies with her. I’ve even had to check my man card and let her paint my nails and put make up on me. It’s funny the things you do for your children. Especially a little girl.

I know nothing about Pikachu. But I am interested in seeing the movie.

That's what dads do! Whether you admit in a public forum or not, most dads will do almost anything for their little girl! Trust me, I tested this growing up!

Love my little devils/angles. They used some nail polish on me that lasted FOOREEEVER, like 2 stage urethane auto paint. But, 14 and16, they're still talking to me.

Yep. My girls are 29 and 23. I dunno if I got lucky or what, but they were both pretty easy to raise for the most part, and we have pretty awesome relationships still.

I've been the test subject for nail polish (fingers & toes) and hair clips (back when I had hair). Kinda miss those days. :D My youngest are now teenagers and would prefer to hangout with their friends.
