Don't worry about newcomers missing out. I should certainly be able to get everyone their syrup, just will be a little late. By returning customers in my post, I was referring to the 2 local stores and farm stands that I supply (one store buys about 30% of my syrup produced, up front, cash, full price so I can't lose that account). But I will always be sure to supply my tundras.com people with syrup, without you guys this wouldn't be possible. So don't worry, I got ya.

As far as new buckets, I should be okay with the ones I have. It would cost thousands to replace them, so I'll get them cleaned up. I can also coat the insides with a resin which eventually I will end up doing over the years.

Ugh the water leak, lol. That was a tough start to the season. I still haven't had time to sheetrock my ceiling yet so I have a nice 6x8 foot hole in the kitchen but I'm used to it now lol. At least I found the source of the leak and repaired it. Hope to get the ceiling patched before too long. Also have quite a few other home improvement projects to do, as I may be needing to move soon. It's a long story but the ex wife currently rents in a town with great schools which is where madelyn goes to school (2nd grade), and I live in a town with not so greatt schools. Well the ex wants to move, probably to be closer to her new BF, she thinks it's okay to displace madelyn from her school and send her to a much lower ranked school system, I disagree so hope I can sell and buy in the town with good schools. Problem is the homes cost significantly more than my town and property taxes are at least 50% more. I'd likely have to downsize or buy a fixer upper for similar price for what I sell my completely remodeled and updated home. Oh well. Gotta do what's best for my daughter.

Did I mention I have been going back to school for my BSN? (batchelor of nursing). I earned my associate's degree 15 years ago and have been very, very slowly been taking classes online to get my BSN. There's no pay raise and I will likely have the same job when I'm done but the BSN will give me more options. Anyway, I was taking an online class during syrup season and struggled to get through it, but I did. I start another class May 1st, then I only have 3 to go! I'm going slow because I don't have time to take more than once class at a time, and I get tuition reimbursement through work, but only $3,300 per year, which allows me to take 2-3 classes per year and I have taken a few semesters off over the years.

    Thanks for your support, everyone!
I will get your syrup to you asap. I should have no excuse to leave anyone out. Boxing and shipping is a time consuming pain in the ass, but like I said, without my tundras.com family, this whole syrup thing wouldn't be possible.

@Pudge Any updates on the bottling process? Not trying to rush you at all, just curious.

Actually yes. I bottled up 20 cases of 16oz last week and bought 45 cases of 8oz today. I also have about 80 plastic quarts to fill up.
I started with 3.5oz glass maple leaf bottled because a close friend bought 100 of them to use as wedding favors for her wedding in June. So by next week I should have 600+ bottles of syrup ready to go.

I just got caught up (I guess I missed these while I was at T2S).

    Bummed about your brother.
Excited about the prospect of another syrup order!
    Bummer about your ex moving.
Super impressed (but not surprised) by your willingness to move to keep your daughter in a good school.

Labels came in and are going on this weekend.

    *** Pricing ***
    8oz (glass flask)- $10
    16oz (glass jug)-$20
32oz (plastic jug) -$33 (sorry for price increase on these this year)
I will have some of the 3.5oz maple leaf bottles again but had issues with shipping last year. If you really want some of these let me know and we will figure out a price for them.

Shipping is USPS flat rate - USPS has increased rate on flat rate shipping this year. I am not considered "commercial" so I don't get the better price.
$15 or 20 depends on the box size. I do my best to get as much into a box as I can safely. I always worry about the glass bottles breaking.
