The badges or the supercharger? ;)

Do you have any dyno numbers brotha and what supporting mods? Just the bolt-on charger?

I have that same warranty from Toyota and my dealership did 100% of the install so everything remains in place. If anything happens, they would have to prove the SC is the DIRECT cause of the problem. Otherwise, it's covered. Go for it, but work those details out with your dealership before you do it.

Not to derail this thread, but anyone looking into the Whipple supercharger? It's supposed to be released mid 2019. I just emailed them to see if I can get more information as well as see if they'd be interested in doing a group buy discount. Wondering what everyone's thoughts are in comparing the two kits.

I'd definitely be interested in hearing more about it, especially where they're at with CARB approval.

When I was in high school, my younger brother was friends with Gale Bank's son (Banks performance), the kid always had "prototype" builds, and one was a Silverado with the whipple SC, damn that kid went through tires. (And there's me in my old ass Mitsubishi mighty max). :D

I was a fan of Whipple SC's in trucks in the 90's. Good to see they're getting in on this for the Tundra.

No Dyno #'s but I did do a Dirty Deeds TRD replacement, dual exhaust, and I have Nitro gears and an Auburn LSD waiting for install. I get 17-18mpg and can put rubber on the asphalt whenever I would like to do some street graffiti.

Does anyone have insight on the new Magnuson tune? How does it compare to Bullydog, DAP, Prospeed, etc.?

Well, heard back from Whipple...sort of. Here is the response I got:
    Paul-

We are currently working on a system for the Tundra. We do not have a release date a this time. It will work with a flex fuel vehicle, but the flex fuel will be inactive. We have not released any horsepower numbers a this time.

Please keep an eye on our social media pages for updates.

At this time, we do not have any plans for special group prices,

    Thank You,

Thanks for the insight. Deceptive AF from Sparks! Obviously there is a reason why they dont show the actual SC with the Sparks branding...... No one would buy it!

I wouldn't install it if the part were free. Maybe you could Paint the area with high heat engine enamel to cover the Sparks logo deceptively printed there. This is coming from a huge Sparks fan! Sparks needs to immediately correct this with a credit to you and updated picture of the product on their site.

Thanks for saving me a huge headache!

For what it is worth, Micah was apologetic and did offer other parts at cost and shipped free, but I just didn't need anything else at the time.

I did leave him with an ear-full of disgust at what ended up in my truck. Almost sold the truck, until I found those badges, which definitely saved the day for me. They do look good, but I spent way too many a sleepless night over their branded bullshite!
