Welp, nothing like getting a phone call 3 hours after you think your truck has been started on and finding out they haven't done any work on it. Guess its back to the drawing board and going to buy the tools to do this myself when i get back from vacation next month.

Got a deal on the 3/1.25 kit from RC and took it to the shop last night to have them install it today. (Tried it myself 2 weeks ago and broke my breaker bar) So 3 hours after they were supposed to start it i get a phone call that they wouldn't install it because they just thought they were putting the front level kit on not rear blocks and that they couldn't find the lock for my lugs. How does it take 3 hours to call and ask about the wheel lock and then decide to open the box and realize it wasn't the kit they thought they were installing.

@Hattori i would prefer not to say bro just because they have been good to me for other items aside form this one time. Just kinda ticked that they were supposed to have started on my truck first thing this morning and didn't call earlier to say "hey we cant find your wheel lock and we discussed a different kit not this one." I guess i should have been more specific in what the exact kit it was.

If I ever came off my wheels I would go 17s. I’ve even thought about a crawl set that I don’t mind tearing up and my everyday bbs ones...sigh

@Hattori Yeah they are just leaving it alone for now. He says i will need new shocks for the rear since i putting the blocks in which i planned to order a 5100 kit all the way around to help with the ride anyway. So just means i will have to get my shocks next month and find a weekend with some help to put the kit on, cause i got a feeling if i go back he will charge way more than i want to spend to install it all this time. Kind of trying to keep all of it under budget and its 2WD so no reason to go balls crazy on it. Just want a good look for it.

I know super off topic and random but.....I am looking for a reputable Home Security Company to come into my home and set up an alarm system. Any recommendations? What are you all using if any? Thanks

I know there’s a couple guys in here that are either insurance brokers or agents or somehow in the industry I know they’ll have some good recommendations once they chime in

We went with the triple play with Xfinity. Home Security, Cable, Internet. No complaints so far.
    Before that we had ADT.

ADT is what first came to my mind. We want a camera on the front and back door and then sensors on exterior doors and windows with a pin pad to arm and disarm

But we do need to start looking at internet and cable options as well. I haven’t had cable for 5 years

Xfinity/Comcast can do that and more. There system has worked very well for us. We also have front/back cameras that are accessible from phone or their provided tablet.
