Hey Josh, when I worked in a bank I would do it every weekend and sell 20-30 cords a year making 4-6 grand extra on side. Now that I work manual labor I just don't have that in me anymore. However, we burn wood almost 24/7 about 6 months out the year as our primary heat source saving between $600-$700 a month in propane costs. It ends up being 6-8 cords a year.

It certainly feels like a never ending job keeping up with it. I think I have everything split for this year, now I just gotta trailer it all up to my house and stack it in the corner of my yard. By that time, soon as I get done with that, not too long after getting a little break I'll probably start cutting and splitting for the following year in the fall. The trick is to let it sit there and season for about a year.

Yeah trust me if u noticed it, I certainly do too, it seems like a never ending side job I don't get paid for. It does save a ton of money though. I fell off my roof the year before last so I'm a bit behind on it for this year.

LOL. Yeah so you're essentially getting paid for it. I'm in upsate NY so I understand the heat source to the fullest. Are the trees on land that you own or something?

I forgot before n just added to post. I fell off my roof before last yr with a chain saw in my hand so I'm a bit behind on it for this year. Full recovery, just broke pelvis, got lucky. Playing catch up now.

I use to get a slash wood permit for a state park. Anything laying on ground off dirt roads was fair game. That plus did tree work on side too. I'd still be willing to do the side work dropping trees and taking the wood, but I also have a brother in law that works for a tree company.

I've found it much easier to have them just drop off a tree truck load of lengths next to my split pile that I'll buck n split right there at an in laws yard in the sticks off dirt roads and trails who has plenty of room on a big property and don't care if I make a mess while splitting. Just wish my yard was a bit bigger I'd have them deliver it right there and make it a bit easier not having to put my hands on it a those extra bunch of times.

I've got a pretty good system down now. Just wish I had an easier way besides throwing it up onto my back deck each week or 2 and every handful of days bringing it in next to fire during heating season. It really is a big commitment to burn 24/7. My kids are a bit young too but soon I'll be able to least get some help from them too.

Decided to finish off my plastic-dip on my interior. I had done the chrome around the cup holder two years ago, and it held up perfectly. So, I added the same color to the trim around the shifter. Once I put it back in, I realized I was obligated to dip the Platinum badge as well. Surprisingly, there is nothing holding it on to the console lid - it's just sticky underneath.

Took off the SR5 and 5.7l badge today. Used goo gone to clean up and then waxed those spots. Trying to decide on Tundra badge maybe paint it MGM or attempt color match...
Not today but earlier on this week added go rhino rb20's. Installed backwards trying to decide if I like them better this way.
Also had the front windows tinted to match 20%.
Trying to decide on level/lift but going to keep 18's...need to fit in a residential garage.

I was thinking 3 coats also.
Yes St. Augustine. I hit it just right this year with fertilizer then we started getting tons of rain in Houston. My neighbors are telling me all the time to stop watering it’s making their yards look bad Lol.

took truck down a muddy road and hit a deep spot then the dash lit up with pre-collision sensor failure, and trailer brake error and traction control light off turned on. The emblem/sensor only had a few mud specks on it, washed it and restarted and drive a little bit and errors went away....
