Hey guys, I left this outta my intro... I guess it could be helpful here, idk. I own Coastal Reflections Auto Detailing here in Felton PA. We use only the best products from Chemical Guys, Meguiars, Poor Boys World, just to name a few... we specialize in paint correction, but we do it all here, inside out. If y'all have any questions, feel free to pick my brain. And if you're local, hit me up and I'll do what i can to help you out. Just sayin' :) Check us out on Instagram at Coastal_Reflections, or facebook Coastal Reflections Auto Detailing.

    1) can I have that Vette
    2) Dry wax (white) on the outside bed liner. Surface cleaner or something else to remove it?

Ever try Adams Polishes products? Cheaper than Chemical Guys for most stuff and have heard a lot of great things. I have only used the interior cleaner which works well, but have the wash and wax as well as paint sealant on order. Just picked up some clay lube and the og bar from chemical guys though, cant wait to try all of it together.

I love to hate Black!!! Its my toughest critic, but most rewarding as well. Here's two reflections from a CTS and the Z06. The square was an Acura TL neglected like a red headed stepchild

I actually just opened an account with Adams. They are ok. Their stuff is pretty straight forward and blunt. Chemical guys have 10 products for every occasion, I kinda like that. I like that CG products smell fruity and fresh, the solvent smell from chemicals gets to you after a while.
I have used Adams shampoo, very good stuff, lots of bubbles, stays on the mits. The paint sealant is good, but a real bitch to remove, so apply it thin (little bit goes a long way) and let it set up good before wiping it off, should make it a lil easier. Save your money on clay lube, any old quick detailer will work, as that's all it is. Adams is decent, absolutely among the top contenders, but CG has definitely yielded better results inside and outside overall.
We do it like this.. wash the vehicle, after the wash, make a fresh bucket of car wash. Then wet the panel down with soapy water and your mit, use the soapy water as clay lube and run the clay bar over that panel, after claying that panel, use the mit to wash that panel again to remove any residue, hose it off. Then compounds if needed, polish to seal the paint, protect with either a good wax or sealant of your choice. Wax provides a good barrier of protection with a good shine, lasting 3-6 months. A sealant will give slightly (not noticeable on daily drivin vehicle) less shine, but will protect against the elements twice as well, for twice as long, lasting 6-10 months. After either application, we ALWAYS use CG Hybrid V07 spray sealant. Its a quick detailer with sealant properties, we love this stuff.

Citrus aerosol foaming upholstery cleaner... Mist it on, let it sit for about 15secs, then blot with a dry microfiber. Anything wet runs the risk of delaminating the fabric and having a sagging liner. scrub lightly if you must, but dont saturate the liner, you dont want to penetrate the surface.

    1. The vette is a customers car, friggin sick!!!
    2. Use a toothbrush, any stiff bristle brush and soapy water, if that doesn't get it, Chemical guys make a product called VRP... Vinyl, rubber, & plastic. It goes on with an applicator pad, then wipe residual off with a towel... That'll do it.

No problem, I'm not the final word in detailing, but I'll help where I can... If I don't know, I'll say so.

Yea, we use OptiCoat, and JetCoat. We're goin to start using CarPro Cquartz exclusively if I get this deal I've been trying to work with them. I'd like to get ahold of Ceramic Pro. One day... as for now, these coatings are sweet. I actually started by using these as a sealant when I do headlight restorations. I recently started doing whole cars. Shitz expensive, in my area, not many people are willing to pay for that finish.
