Has anyone figured out a place to put a back up camera when truck is used for fifth wheel use.
License plate cameras do not work and I have not found a 3rd brake light camera for Tundra.

Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
Check into a furrion observation/back up cam. Works well for us. A must have with non tow mirrors.

I have fifth wheel hitch which means tailgate has to be down so license plate cameras do not work. Hopefully someone will have found a solution.

What are you trying to see? Do you want truck mount or do you want to see behind the 5th wheel?

I have a wired rear view system from RVS mounted on back of trailer. I need camera to see fifth wheel king pin to hitch up to with truck.

    Thanks

I would take the camera linked above, or something cheaper bend a little metal tab, grab a m6 bolt or whatever the factory bed rails bolt to, and bolt it up underneath near the top edge of the front of the bed.

You should have enough angle to line up your 5th wheel. I wouldn't want to drill into the brake housing of roof because I don't like leaks...
