I'm not even sure if these exist since I haven't been able to find anything and my local Toyota dealership is clueless as well. Are there tinted Front Driver/Passenger side windows from the factory? I've had many aftermarket tints over the years and they start to fuzz, bubble or develop a scratch from the windows rolling up and down. I just want something that will last the life of the car. I'm tired of paying $500 for a tint only for the shop to go out of business 5 years later and there's no one to warranty the material or work.

The question is are there compatible OEM tinted windows that will fit our Tundras? Maybe from the Land Cruiser or Lexus LX models or something similar?

not sure... I think your best bet would be to find a guy locally that would give you a lifetime warranty on the tint. Not sure where your from, but there should be many places that would be able to help you. I have a guy here in TX that warranties all of his work, and for cheap. If there is ever a problem with the tint, he'll rip it off and replace it for nothing. Don't waste your time at a dealer for tint. They'll charge you an arm and a leg.

I'm not sure, but it's highly unlikely since tint laws vary from state to state, and no OEM is going to try to satisfy the tint requirements of all jurisdictions.

In the 20th century, tinted glass in cars was an option you could order. The tint option started about the same time as optional air conditioning, and was standard equipment if you ordered the AC. The tint (green) helped, but you had to look close to even see that it existed.

I pay 100 a year to have my windows tinted.
I have to take it off for inspection once a year

I would never in my life pay 500 to tint a couple windows.

$500 Seems pretty high. I just had it done for $210/ then it was another $30 for lifetime warranty. That covers removal and replacement for damage, fix it tickets, and even if I want to change the tint shade.

May I ask what state you live in? Even here in the socialist state of california we don't have to have annual inspections.

We have to have our cars inspected once a year and a tint law is involved.
We can have the backs as dark as we want them so if your homies want to cap a bitch they have to do it from the back seat

You're not going to find anything different than what you have. A long time ago there were at least 2 different colors available. A grey or smoke color and a bronze color but I haven't seen anything like that for years.

Manufacturers deal with every state having different laws regarding tint.
