Ok, im pissed i missed this, but since this is still fresh, what is the actual difference between all these, not going to go budget, probably looking at the 8 or 10. I emailed dirtydeeds for some info since there isnt any on the 10. And I completly understand with not hearing from them yet probably because of this group buy. So anyone else can help me with info? Dont want it too loud.(which 6 might be) To put it into perspective I was looking at the corsa so whatever is similar to that. Any help would be appreciated to help me with my research. Im gonna read through these 30 pages and see if there is anything or if its just everyone bragging about how they love there exhaust. Thanks.

If your looking for sound go with the 8”. I tow long distances and the noise can get tiresome after hour 2, so I went 10. There’s still a growl when you get on the throttle, but stock quiet at speed

Definitely go with an 8”. I love mine. Only reason I would suggest a 10” if if you’re towing and under constant load, this would be a little easier on the ears. But all Keith’s exhausts are silent on the highway if you install the resonator, but open up when you stomp on the throttle!

I have the 8” w the resonator installed and it’s almost completely gone in the cab until I get on the gas. Even then it’s not loud by any means but is still there. It’s a perfect system. Even noticed a ton of low end torque and horse. Going to jump on my harley and have my pops drive it while I follow just so I can hear what it really sounds like outside the cab. Beyond happy with the performance and sound!

As for mpg’s...Iv got a 3” toytec radflo lift on 315/70r17 ridge grapplers and even w my driving style which isn’t batshit crazy but I don’t let the grass grow under me, my gauge is still readying between 14.6 and 16.5 mpg’s on average when I turn my truck off. So nothings really changed there

I went ahead and installed the resonator today after work. This is on the 10 inch SS. For me, maybe because I’ll be 50 in August, it was too much drone in the cab. With the resonator it is perfect. I didn’t realize it would make that much difference. When you get on it, it sounds so good. When cruising it is near stock if not stock quiet. I am very pleased with this exhaust. Truferlife, thank you for putting this together. Kieth, thank you for building an awesome exhaust for our trucks. Much appreciated.

I've got a bit of touching up to do with the paint... bunch of areas that got scraped in shipping. @dirtydeeds what high heat paint do you use? Is it a flat or satin finish? I'm going to paint my tailpipes too so I want it all to match as best as it can.

    Out of the box...

    IMG_20190511_172606~2.jpg ...and on the truck.

IMG_20190511_184756.jpg hooked up and ready to go.

IMG_20190511_125731.jpg sanded and painted the rusty ass TRD tailpipes.
IMG_20190511_133032.jpg pain in the shithole to be perfectly honest.

IMG_20190511_184739~2.jpg on and looking almost as good as it sounds!

I broke 4 of the six bolts when removing the original TRD dual pipes. I had ordered the gaskets and bolt set as a precaution, and boy did it pay off!!! Also, great advice from Kieth: use a little red hightemp to tack the gaskets in place so they don't fall or move when lining everything up. It worked perfectly, and made the final install quite easy. I have not driven on the road yet, but the "driveway test" passed with big smiles.

So sick! Well I’ll be LT and BAM with 16x5, hopefully supercharged one day because they just released the super chargers for ‘18 models. :anonymous:

I went ahead and painted my tailpipes like you... even though they were brand new, I didn’t want to be dealing with rust issues.

Nice. I HIGHLY recommend painting, especially the new ones. Its truly miserable to do this after they start to rust. This Group buy has been great, thanks again for hosting and making it happen!

Keith @dirtydeeds and his team once again knocked it out of the park with my Sequoia exhaust which he did for me as part of this group buy. Turned out absolutely perfect just as Keith and I discussed and has exceeded my expectations. Thanks Again Keith 7CA36230-78F0-4D7D-9C17-28271F1D339D.jpg

Finally got around to installing my 10 inch from the recent group buy. Started late and took it for a quick turn around the block. What a difference! I noticed a bit of a drone, and some resonance inside the can, so decided to go straight to installing the resonator.
First thing this morning I got to it and took it out on the highway. DANG! That system is sweet! No drone, just a sweet deep rumble that gets downright nasty when you throttle down. I also get a nice deep note on the downshift around town.
Kudos to Keith and the crew at Dirty Deeds. This system is perfect for the truck. All the noise you want is outside the cabin. I get zero annoying resonances at any speed.
The best part is the shit-eating grin I had when I first bought the truck is back .

I might need to talk with him about doing something with my wife's Land Cruiser, might be a little more complicated because the fuel tank is on the passenger side. Anyone know of any 200 series running a dirty deeds system?

Yes, gonna hopefully be able to wait to see if there will be another group buy or atleast maybe a sale for memorial day. But this is exactly what I will be doing. Most likely take the tip to a muffler shop and have them make a new end pipe with the resonator.

Now that I’m no longer gunning the pedal at stop lights, I’m noticing a .5 mpg improvement these days. Unknown if it is the bullydog or ba system ...

I went from 12.7 to 12.8 mpg, and that’s with gunning it from time to time just to hear it.

Partial level kit, Total chaos UCA, coach builder shackles, magnaflow ex. Tuner, SABM, complete poly bushing suspension.
Finally install headers and two thirds of Keith’s race system. Took about 5 hours total and sounds great which I would love to add a video but this thing isn’t letting me, but I’ll keep trying

So I've had my TRD replacement on for a couple weeks, and I'm curious what others with the TRD rep. think about in comparison to the OEM TRD.
I've noticed a increase in torque and a healthy growl from idle to about 3000-3200 rpm's. In this range the truck sounds amazing...

After that is where my truck starts to sound more like 2 4cylinder cars (not nasally, healthy, just higher pitched) versus a nasty deep V8. Then it goes almost completely silent from 3200- 5500+ ( I literally cannot hear the exhaust over the engine) and power decreases in that range also.
The oem TRD exhaust had a continuous audible growl across the entire rpm range and though it lacked low end torque it built HP with the higher rpm's.

I have the 16x5's with the resonators added to the system, not the tailpipes. Just curious what the folks with the TRD replacement are experiencing/ noticing?

I love my BA system under 3200 rpm's. It is Killer and blows away the OEM. I wish it kept on growling like the OEM into the shift point. Is there a fix for this? If I get on the gas the tranny downshifts the rpms go above 3200 and I don't have any audible presence of the exhaust... I read about everyone saying "when I get on it it opens up! Mine seems to go into incognito mode.

Above 3200 rpm, I thought it would be more. Anyone share thoughts?
