Ok so I need some help from everyone on deciding which Tundra I should get. I have been contemplating on this for a few days and just can't decide. Even my FB friends are just making more confused. So I decided to go with the pros and see what everyone thinks. I'm going to look at some Tundras tomorrow. So 2017 Blazing Blue SR5 TRD Packages or should I make the huge jump and go for the 2017 TRD Pro Cement? :help:

Don't want a huge lift but maybe a leveling kit with a tiny lift. And some meetier tires.

i love the cement color but if you're going to upgrade suspension, there's no point in getting a pro.

If I can get it leveled without changing out the suspension then no I would not change the suspension.

Should I just leave it like it is? Maybe just some beefier tires?

Pro is already leveled at 2" in the front and you can stick some 295/70/18's on the stock wheels for the beefy look.

Like others said wouldnt get a pro if your gonna want to go higher than the 2" stock lift on those, but since your goal is just a level look I think youll be okay.

That cement color is pretty sweet.

Yeah it's growing on me the more I look at it. I found one for 45. What do you think on the price? 48 is MSRP.

I traded in a 2015 limited for the pro. I love the truck but it depends on what you want. There are some things the limited had that I wish were on the pro( dual zone a/c, heated seats, autoheadlights, and sunroof). The pro you are paying for the suspension, so if your going to change it out get an sr5 or a limited and save the money.

More people get a non pro and then spend money trying to make it look and work like a pro than actually buy Pro's.
Do it out of the gate and you won't regret it. Suspension is sweet out the door and won't need upgrades unless you're looking for a mall queen. Hope you're as happy with your choice as most tundra owners are!

I know. Guess I'm going to look at the TRD Pro in COS first. They also have a Magnetic Gray that has all that the blue one I was going to look at. So can check it out at the same time. Should throw that color out there too.

    Blazing Blue

Some good advice above. The pro is nicer than the sr5, I think the pro has leather as of '16. You really don't want to lift a pro 'cause you'll have wasted a bunch of money on suspension. In my area, they often ask about 50k for the pros. If you get the sr5 and put high end coil overs and rear shocks, you've got a little more height adjustment, end up spending about the same, and don't have leather or any of the other cool "pro" goodies.

Good advise from everyone. BUT not making it any easier. LOL. I'm going to go to COS and check out the Cement TRD Pro and see how I feel about it then. And I'm going to have them put the Magnetic Gray SR5 beside it so I can look at them both at the same time. Then I should be able to make a decision. Ha. Yeah right. LOL.

I wish my Tundra was that cement gray color!!! Is it only available on the 17 Pro's?
Gray is always my favorite color. I wish the interior was gray instead of black.

i have a 2016 trd 4x4 crewmax,i considered trading up to trdpro but the loss's out weight the Gaines..
mine is a harder to get combo version ....trd upgrade-sr5 upgrade-safety convenience upgrade-entune upgrade

with trd pro i would get even more upgrade to my bilstein shocks, exhaust, leather and trim
would lose sensors and safety package....cross traffic alert system and lane warnings are great, parking sensor is great

if color is your main reason...custom order the truck..

So the TRD Pros don't come with the backup cameras, front and rear sensors, and blind spot sensors?

True about the leather, and not having to upgrade suspension, but you have about 10-15k in price difference. A good suspension that's better than the pro would only cost about 2k-4K, add in a CAI, tires, etc. you're still about 5k-7K (in comes the SC) shy. Granted it doesn't come with some of the tech goodies but would perform just as well if not better than a pro.
Can't you tell I've been planning out my next truck?? LOL
