White Mirror Caps Or Nah?

Wondering if the truck might look better with the white mirror caps or if I should keep em black.

What do you guys think?

 

If you're going to buy them, get the color matched door handles as a set. I just ordered just the handles in silver from @Roman. $78 shipped

 

If you go white then the black door handles are going to have to go white also. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

 

Think you guys may be right, just played around with it on photoshop and didn't like the outcome (although I'm an amateur at PS). Will have to look around the forum and see if anyone else has the white caps with black handles and bumpers. Pretty sure the TRD Pros come with color matches caps and black handles, and I'm sure some have added black bumpers so maybe I'll find a white one and get an idea of how it looks.

 

Honestly, I like the look of both.
You could keep the handles black especially considering the caps only cover the top part, leaving the bottom black. Give a nice level of contrast.

IMO, black handles no matter what. Don't like color matched as I feel like they disappear in the truck. I think white caps with black handles look sharp.

 

After seeing those pics I like the white caps, but dont think they would look better than black unless I added the white bumper ends too. Hmmm. I do like the look of the white handles, but between me and the people that ride to lunch with me during the week I doubt I could keep them white for very long.

 

Sparks has the white mirror caps on sale for $85 right now (includes both sides), for that price I may have to give it a shot and see how it turns out. Think either way would look great on your truck since you have the white bumper ends.

Just painted mine and am very happy with the results! Think it makes the whole truck pop now. Check out my build thread on how I did it. If u want to spend the $80 n do it the right way I still think you will be happy.

 

I have the same dilemma man. I already have the white mirror caps (not on yet) and color matched grill (not yet on either), but Im not sure if I like the black door handles or the white ones now. I have the limited so mine came with the color matched rear bumper. Just keep in mind that the more white you have overall, will make the black accents stand out even more. whenever you make your decision and get it all installed, post up some pics so we can see!

Since you have black rims I say keep the handles black too, I did my handles and mirror covers white but my rims are chrome so it has a nicer flow. I think the white mirror covers would be a good idea tho

I agree with you. They would look good white if you had your bumpers ends white too. It also looks good black bumper ends with black mirrors.

 

I know it's already been mentioned, but my vote is for White Caps, and Black handles. I have the same truck, and will set it up almost identical to the way you have it.

I had the guy spray my mirror caps to get them color matched when he was doing my camper shell. Really like how they turned out.
So my vote is for white caps. I wouldn't worry about the handles. Oh, and yeah, I think guys on here said it before but I would most definitely get the color matched bumper ends.
