1992 4runner 4x4

The 3.0 siezed up at 165k miles. Started the 3.4 swap. Donor was a 1999 4runner with 130k miles.

Current condition the 3.4 is out of the truck. I tore the engine down and changed every seal and gasket with fel-pro, replaced all plugs and checked timing belt. The engine is ready to be dropped in. The body is in very good condition along with the interior. I changed every speaker and put in a Bluetooth headunit. There is one year in the whole interior and it is a 2.5in tear driver seat butt area.


Comes with:

-Custom 3.4 swap wiring harness
-T100 ECU which is needed for this engine/tranny combo so no tuning necessary
-Custom exhaust manifold with the downpipe switched sides


So if you want a project here you go. I travel way to much with my new job to be able to finish this. I WILL sell the engine separate if someone is interested.

$1,000 for everything and I'll deliver within 50 miles at that price. OR I will trade for wheels and tires! I like Methods, SCS wheels or TRD Pro wheels. I'm open to alot of trade opportunities for Tundra stuff to be honest. Wheels are priority though.

Most people who do this or know about it are unfortunately. The Washington state and Oregon area are the epicenter for 3.4 mod 4runners.

 

I did a 3.4 swap in my 93 a few years ago. What a difference it made. This is a great project for someone. I would SAS it and make it a nice crawler.

 

Feel free to share to anyone. I'm hoping it makes someone happy. I've gotten this far but spending 4 days a week on road and coming home to 3 kids and a wife my time is better spent with them.

 

If you havent yet, I would put it on pirate, yotatech and tacomaworld as they are more likely to want a project like this.
