So I thought I would go ahead and start a build tread for my 16cm. I am not going nuts with the truck but I would like to put some documentation down. This is my second cm traded my 14cm trd off road for the 16cm off road. Left my 14 basically stock for the 3years I had it so wanted to add alittle to this one to make it somewhat different.
    So here goes

IMG_2422.jpg As I said not much change (I like what I like)
Added the carry over stuff I had on the 14. Wethertec's front and back bed rails and toyota divider, fold a cover.
Also swapped out black handles and mirrors for chrome. And had the trd dual exhaust installed.

IMG_2553.jpg Pic with level installed. Driveway had a pretty good slop to it so it looks nose high in pic but actually have a 3/4 rake and it hasn't settle down yet still need a alignment also. Not sure I'm going to put the 1 in the back keeping the stock rims and tires so don't need it to high in the back.

Sway bar installed, ran it around a little man that is a huge improvement it just sticks to the road. So glad I negotiated it and the duals in the deal for the truck. weird thing was though they wanted to charge me 150 to install told the just give it to me. Took 20 minutes to put on talk about trying to get more out of the deal.
Also added the chrome inlaid letters not to sure about them though I think they get lost.

Spacers installed. Love the new stance edge of the tread is right at the edge of the fender.

IMG_2551.jpg Put on some old Hellas I had on my jeep back in the day.
Side note these have never been hooked up just had them for looks on the jeep window pillars. But notice how one is foggy and the other is clear, from being packed away with the standard plastic cover on it degraded and did something weird to the bulbs had to disassemble and clean the haze out of them. So just a heads up for any old schoolers out there still running these kind of lights pop your covers every once and a while if you have them and check.
Anyway I think I will keep the lights on till I install the next upgrade coming soon.

So I got my chrome rears to swap out the color matched and was going to install tonight. While under the truck noticed the cross/blind spot traffic sensors behind the bumpers did some searching and found you have to disable them to go back to chrome.
Why couldn't I find this before had my hopes up of getting chromes in the rear and now I have to decide to either ditch the idea or disable the technology.

Looks good. You're definitely going against the grain. You've added a full grill guard that isn't very common with Tundra owners and most people don't add chrome. If I were you, I'd list the black handles, mirrors, and color matched bumper ends (if you decide to install the chrome ones), I'm sure it would all sell.

Yeah it's not the parking sensors I'm worried about they mount in the bumper it's the cross traffic/blind spot monitors that I will have to disable due to the fact they will not transmit through the metal bumpers.

I wasn't sure about the grill guard I picked that and the steps up as package deal from a guy on cl for dirt cheap and figured if I didn't like it I wasn't out much. Now that it's on I really like it kind of sets it apart from the rest of tundras in the area. And I always have preferred chrome bumpers on trucks just how I grew up I guess all older trucks had big old chrome bumpers and I guess it's old school.

Wasn't in mine either last one on the lot in silver gave me a good deal. That's the only reason I have it now I don't know if I want to delete it.

Pro grill installed, I must say super easy install no broken tabs insert poped right in. Was a little worried but a breeze to do. Now I just need to see it in the day to love it.
