I see these million mile Tundras have the 4.7 V8. When did Toyota stop offering that engine? Now we have either the 4.6 or the 5.7. I was under the impression that the 5.7 became available in the Tundra in 2007 with the release of the Gen 2, though I could be wrong. When did the 4.6 come into play?

    It was available 03-09.

    4.6 was available in 2010 I believe.

Nice. So by that math I can have my truck another 48 years easily. Can't wait to tell my wife.

    Corrected by math there.

This is why I love Toyota and what they have done with the Tundra. It’s so damn reliable, as much as everyone is anxiously awaiting an full revamp how can you argue with the reliability these trucks have and how well they are built.

I want to say last time this million mile truck was popping, the big 3 had a couple that had been there done that. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those trucks were older, like 70's or 80's. The 'newer' ones probably don't have odometer overrun issues

I'm kind of curious how much he could actually sell this for if he tried. Maybe $3-4K? How does one appraise a truck with 1,000,000 miles?

Didnt the last tundra 1 mil mile guy get a new tundra from Toyota for free? And they took the truck for research/study for quality control. So maybe not worth much to us, but to someone it's worth a lot.
