I did this yesterday. This thing is bright. It's just an Amazon el cheapo, but it drowns out my HID's in the headlights and fogs. I had to reorganize some of the buttons on the dash to get the setup the way I wanted it, but I think its worth it, what y'all think?

Nice, That's where I'd want to put a light bar as well, except I have a 3rd Gen.. need to find which one fits that space above the license plate.

Looks good. Did you have to remove the bumper or did you find some brackets that made it easier?

Looks awesome! Would you mind sharing the Amazon part number. Looking to do something very similar - just need to get creative about where I put my front license plate.....

    Thanks guys.

Yours is easy, They make a 30" kit with prefabbed brackets for a direct fit. Look on "Rough Country Lift kit" site.

I left the bumper on, I had top make the bracket to make this work. I welded 2 1x5" sections of 1/8" flat bar to a piece of 1x2" angle iron. Then drilled and tapped the flat section of the angle iron into the metal bumper behind the bumper cover. Then just align and wire it up. As for relocating the buttons, I had to lengthen the wires from the left side of the steering column, to make it all the way over to the other side.

Sure, its the SLDX L1810 21/23 light bar.

I'll have to check that out. I haven't had anyone show me an exact one that would fit yet. But I haven't researched it too much either.
