We have a beer thread and a bourbon/whiskey thread, but there are so many other wonderful distilled beverages out there to enjoy!

    I'll start:

    Stolen Overproof Rum
    [IMG]

123 proof and only available in 375ml bottles for $15-20 in my area, this stuff is so different from other rums I've had. I get this weird "funky" finish, with lots of jackfruit and dried mango flavor.

Stolen doesn't disclose where they sourced this, but various people have said this is a 6 year old Hampden Estate rum

Camarena Silver Tequila great for our Margaritas at the house.

And Grand Gala is a great "topper" for Margs., almost half the price of Grand Marnier

The Woman likes her Bombay Saphire gin and tonics. She also likes Cabo Wabo tequila.

When I'm not drinking whiskey, I like Mount Gay rum from Barbados.

Only rum I will usually drink. The Mount Gay is pretty good though.

I have a dangerous habit of collecting good tequila. Last bottle I added to my collection last week was Avion 44

Margarita tequila for me is Milagro Silver.

Brand new bottle will be cracked around lunchtime tomorrow. The tonic water helps fight malaria.

Bombay with lime; or Hendricks with cucumber. Yummy!

    Pierre Ferrand Renegade Barrel #1

I hadn't really tried cognac beyond lower end Remy Martin and Hennessey, which are stale and unimpressive expressions. A local liquor store by me had Alexandre Gabriel, the president of Pierre Ferrand there peddling a few different bottles. Everything he had was delicious and totally changed what I thought about Cognac. I highly recommend this brand if you're a whiskey fan looking to try something different. The Renegade #1 and 2 are quite rare now, but the cigare blend is great and readily available.

There are some cognacs that are really good. Hennesy is unfortunately too mainstream and kinda gives cognac a bad rap

Blame the titty bar 24 years ago. It glows under a blue b/c of the tonic water. Ever since then.....

As do I, I usually keep a bottle on deck. If you can ever get your hands on Fine De Cognac or White Hennessy, give it a try. I get my Fine De Cognac from Europe or offline and my White from the Islands or Duty Free in Miami's airport. Very smooth, love them!
