I came out of retirement to drive truck part time. Get loaded in Sagola and haul to Rhinelander. I make the drive on 70 through the Nicolet National Forest every day. I used to go to Milwaukee but this is a much nicer ride.

 

I like the nicolet NF a lot!

 

A guy i work with is about to retire and wants top do part time long hauls

 

I wanted to be home every night. I was hired to work 3 days a week, 6 hr. days. Yeah right. I work 5 days a week with some days 11 or 12 hrs. I also have a lawn service business so now I work more than before I retired. At least I got a new truck out of it.

I just stumbled across this thread... I live in Kingsford! I just brought this home Friday from Rhinelander too.

Last week I spotted bigfoot in Kingsford!

Actually, it was a Black, regular cab, short bed Tundra with Pro exhaust.

I couldn't see much potential for it as a truck but it sure looked like it'd be fun to drive. Wish I had gotten a pic.

 

I would have bought a regular cab Tundra if they made them. They look better than these truck like station wagons we have nowadays. Can you tell I’m old?

I have a good friend that has a house on Drummond island and he let us use it last year for vaca. Really nice land way up there we enjoyed it...... the swarm of black flys I coulda done without lol

Ex-Houghtonite living in Colorado now, been through Kingsford/Iron Mountain, Rhinelander, Eagle River going to Southern Wisconsin and back. I'm sure I'll be back someday.
