    East/ west I could be wrong. I just know there are two parking spots. One small one near the gas station and a bigger one across the way next to the on-ramp heading North. It’ll be hard to miss a large group of Tundras though so I think we’ll be good either way!

    If anyone needs to borrow a radio I can loan out my baofeng. I wont be up there, but you're welcome to stop by before the trip and return it after.

    Otherwise I highly encourage to buy one, they're inexpensive and it's very helpful to hear people call out turns, obstacles, on coming traffic, and of course the BS that comes with being able to communicate.

    The Kenwood will not play nice with the Baofengs if the chosen frequency is a MURS or FRS frequency unless the kenwood is unlocked. I had to unlock my Icom for these runs. I have 2 loaner radios in the truck.

    A radio guru from TW helped "unlock" my radio by switching the channel set to a different batch which gained access to the MURS frequencies and those we commonly use on the hand held. Did it all from the radio, while mounted in the truck in under 5 minutes.
