May I suggest hiding a non chip key somewhere on the truck in a box so if you do that again, you can get into your truck. It won’t be able to start it just get the door open.

This is exactly what I did. Had the dealer cut me an $8 vallet key just for those "ohh shit" moments.

 

It started with my wife ending up in the hospital 2 weeks ago for almost a week. My MIL is in a nursing home. We busted her out sat to get her to my inlaws 50th wedding anniversary. Got a phone call last night my father in law may of had a stroke and was in the hospital. I locked my keys in the truck. Got that taken care of and my boy said he has to go to the dentist in the am to get a tooth pulled.

AND, I'm out of beer!

So here it is.....5100s on the rear 6112s on the front, set at 1.3". Installation of the pre-assembled front cost $550 at the dealer.

Not usually. Thank you all for helping me through my meltdown. I'm better than a quarter through that case. Gotta start all over in the am with running Big Daddy to the hospital for dr apptments.

All wiring soldered and heat shrinked

 

Painted my factory fender flares due to peeling and micro cracking at the top edges due to sun. I did a fine textured bed liner finish. Painted the plastic lower valance to match. Replaced the rubber seal/gaskets. I polished the paint wear line and before reinstalling I put down a 1/4” black solid pin stripe on the wear line to help protect it. I liked the color match, but I find this more my style.

 

Painted my tundra grill emblem Barcelona red to match the truck and did a show car detail. Put two coats
of meguires ceramic wax on the paint,windows,wheels and fender wells.getting ready for the TUNDRA TAKEOVER this weekend in pigeon forge TN.

 

285k oil & filter change, and tire rotation.

 

tenntundra - You did an excellent job on the plenum cover too, looks great. Now I want to paint mine since it looks like I’ve never washed it.

 

Picked up and installed a Craigslist score. SnugTop Rebel and Bedrug for $600. Maaco will paint match it for $500. I was about to drop $3k for new but found this the night before purchase.

Finally got around to getting my bilstein 5100 put on the front
Next is some 17x8.5 methods with some 295/70r17 assuming they fit. #babysteps

 

I finished my exhaust tailpipe install. Pretty stoked on the fit and finish. The new muffler sounds great too. Glad to get some quiet in my life.
