So the title says it all. I have been piecing together my lift kit and all I have left is rear shocks.

So ill be using the following parts:

    Front
    Maxtrack 3.5" Spindle Lift
    ProComp 2.5" Front coils

    Rear:
    4" Block
    ToyTec add-a-leaf (1-1.5")
    Shocks (??)

    Tires:
    RBP Repulsors
    35x12.5R20

    Wheels:
    Fuel (can't remember the name)

My truck will see light sand duty and very mild off road (no trails) duty.

So after all that what are the shock options for 4-6" of lift?

(I'll upload pics of the parts later)

So no one uses rear shocks in that range? All I'm coming up with are ProComp and RCD Bilsteins with my searching.

I have some “used” RCD rear shocks good for 3-5 inches of lift. Had them for a year. Willing to sell them. Have no use for them. Bought them from performancelifts.com

Also have CST spindles for sale.

It seems that most great coil overs don’t offer that type of lift so their rear shocks also don’t seem to accommodate that much lift.

So I would think the only companies to offer that much lift and a shock to go with it would be the ones that offer six and 8 inch lifts like Procomp.

I don’t know for sure though. Just trying to get a conversation started for you. Maybe someone else can chime in.

You could get yourself a custom set of king shocks to work with your setup. The shocks can be ordered in a wide range of lengths, spring rates and valving to fit your needs. The reason your seeing those brands is due to the simple cookie cutter lift kits that are so common done by those companies. Nothing wrong with them aside for their lack of performance when compared to a King Shock or Fox shocks as well.

Pro Comp has rear shocks that come with their 6” lift (ES9000’s I believe.) I currently have Kings with remote reservoirs that I purchased through Boss 4x4s. I’m not sure if they are custom ordered or not.

Ok so that all jives up with what I was reading. Was hoping for a few more options.

I guess I'll narrow it down and go from there.
