    Yeah, definitely not my finest moment.

    I found the glass on eBay for $159. Seller has 100% reviews so I am going to pull the trigger. Hopefully install won’t be too bad.

    In happy news, my family gets back in town this week and we’re planning a day trip to Big Shell beach on the Padre Island National Seashore. I’ll get to air down and drive the beach for about 50miles round trip. Then I’ll get to try out the new compressor for the drive home. I’ll upload some pictures afterwards.

    Steel Coolant tubes along the passenger side of the engine were rusted and seeping coolant. I had to remove them and replace with a new set. Cake work! :thumbsup:

    Need help quick. Anyone who did cai install. Does this rubber grommet on air accelerator up against fender wall need to go inside the fender wall? Seems like that is only way my screws for bottom air box will line up.

    Yeah just seems to look like it wants to be where I have it now. But when I pushed it in further the box bolts lined up. The way it is in pic with rubber lip before going thru fender wall I'm a little away from lining up bottom box bolts. Seems like only way it will fit is by punching that lip in further?

    Yeah it seems like only way. Just the design of it, it looks like that rubber ring would or should sit toward inside toward engine, not be pushed all way into fender. But oh well, I've already got it in there. Just hoping someone confirms I've got it right lol

    Finally, first bath. Yea, I know, 4 months after purchase, and 2 months after first off-road fun... but finally had time and energy after having a medical emergency the day after I came back from my first trip to Mojave in Feb (crazy timing, thankful it didn't happen in the middle of nowhere). I also replaced the front turn signals with the Antline LED ones, and the rear brake ones too last weekend. The interior is pretty clean, I had cleaned it out the day I got back from Mojave, along with the under carriage, so just concentrated on the outside. Not a detailing, just getting all the bugsplat and dirt off; showing it a little love.

    I left my little alien dirty and rusting, it's on its third Toyota truck at this point. He's been bashed 4 or 5 times now and is a bit bent but makes a good first impression :yes:.
