I am not sure if this is even possible but I was wondering if anyone was able to install a light bar in the hood bulge in a 2012 tundra.

So after doing some quick searching, it doesn't seem like there is an option to mount lights in that area. (i don't know specifics to why as I own a gen 3 tundra, not a gen 2)

    https://headlightrevolution.com/vehicles/toyota-tundra/toyota-tundra-2007-2013/

There are other options for lights on this website, headlight revolution. I've ordered from them and the upgraded lights I currently have are from them

Sorry, I couldn't help out more. If I find anything new on this subject. Ill comment again and correct/edit my response :)

just install some ditch lights in the A pillar position. It will light up the road real good. Baja Designs for example.

It’s also a fake grill or whatever and there isn’t a hole behind it. It’s just part of the grill. The later models it’s part of the hood and has an area behind it to contain the light bar. Sorry buddy.

I'm a 1st gen guy so taking a guess from the posted pic, but taking a lesson from Prius. The 2nd gen Prius speedo is actually a mirror. It reflects the reversed image as there is no room for the speedo where it needs to be.

Put a wide (plastic) mirror in there mounted to be angle adjustable & mount a light bar below/in front of the mirrors base (inside the hood/grill). In effect light bar under hood pointed at mirror which reflects light forward. Adjustable mount lets light be aim-able.

I've thought about doing that led on top of the front grill. What inches did you used

Iv seen a few Tundras riding around with the 3 amber LEDs added to that spot. Tbh I think it makes it much more like a “truck” like the roof lights add that
