So I’m having issues with my drls working. The headlights work fine but when I start my truck the drls do not come on. I disconnected and reconnected everything. Also I noticed I do not hear the relay harness power on. So I’m not sure if that’s the issue. Please help

I’m not 100% certain but I think you might need to Depin/cut the grey wire.

I used the iHacker harness but for bright always. I connected it to the fuse box and no issues. Did you get this option? Check the fuse to ensure it’s not blown.

I have a different harness that uses a relay harness. I’ve checked the fuse on the relay harness and it’s fine

If it worked before and now it’s not, I would bet it’s a fuse or bad relay.

I traced it back to it starting after I upgraded the foot well light with an LED. I removed the new foot well bulb then reinstalled it and the DRLs are working now. Any ideas on how the new foot well lED light caused this? It is all working fine for now...

Polarity issue with the footwell bulb I'd guess.

Possibly. Just for troubleshooting I put the led bulb back in and everything still works. When I originally put the bulb in the polarity wasn’t right so I had to flip the bulb. After that is when it stopped. Strange

Hey make sure the firewall wire is tight and wire don’t slide off the plug, I had this issue over and over again when people inserted the metal pin into plug in the wrong side and don’t lock correctly in place so when you move the wire DRL might stop working
