Maintenance Required Soon light

    The MRS light jus came on I'll assume a oil change is due??? Mileage now reads 33675 I took my truck out to work couple months ago to Arkansas when light came on had oil change done at Toyota dealer there they put on windshield tag says when it's due and it reads at 34157 shud I wait or can it b something else??? I brought truck out on road again for work all is well now no other lights have lit on dash any suggestions

    Calibrated Power 5 Tune pack, Allison 1000 tune, PPE deep trans pan, Cold/Hot CAC pipes, Banks CAI, PCV reroute, resonator delete, S&B 62 gal fuel tank, B&W GN hitch
    The MRS light starts flashing at 4500 miles after the reset and stays illuminated after you hit 5000 miles on that service interval.

    So jus a heads up then?...so I change oil when I hit the windshield tag mark? Lil before lil after?

    Yes sir. Do you have a Flex Fuel truck or not? The Non-Flex fuel trucks can go 10K between oil changes if synthetic oil is used...FYI. Flex fuel is 5K miles.

    Yes off I just called the dealer in in Missouri where I had my oil change done I had 29000 miles and change right now I have 33718 the dealer said call back on Monday they were closed so I called another big dealer they told me it was an oil change issue n possible tire rotation

    Yep its just a warning when it flashes at ya 500 miles before your next scheduled oil change. It will stay on when its time to change it.
