Couldn't find anyone on here who has painted their calipers and shared, so thought I would. I used Rust-oleum high heat paint and clear coat. I went with the orange engine enamel as that was the closest I could find to match the inferno color. It actually came out pretty close too.

I first took a wire brush to the calipers to get any grease and dirt off. I only have 6k miles on the truck so there wasn't much. I finished it with some rubbing alcohol to make sure it was clean.

I left the calipers on and just wrapped the discs in a trash bag. I sprayed the paint a little at a time into a cup and then just painted it on. Did two coats on each side with about 10 mins in between each coat.

Let dry for a couple hours and then took it for a drive to cure the paint. Then slapped some high heat decals on and sprayed some clear coat. Shot it with two coats of clear, let it sit for about 30 and then took it for another spin to let the clear cure.

SWEET! I so want to do this, if for no other reason than to keep the calipers from looking like rubbish.

    Thank you!

I've never really been a fan either on trucks and I originally wanted to paint them black mostly to protect them from rust. But then took a chance on the orange and super happy I did!

I'm definitely doing all four of mine in the near future. I'm going red and probably use Duplicolor or VHT caliper paint.

Where did you get the TRD decals?

    Looks great.

I've done these before on my Tacoma using the G2 brand brush on paint. It's more expensive than the spray can, but it is SUPER durable.

The paint is also self-leveling and dries pretty glossy.

It's also more time intensive but can't think of a better way to spend a day off.

Yeah I only spent like 20 bucks including the decals. I heard good stuff about the Rust-Oleum but I'll have to report back to see how its holding up.

I may do black with a dark silver TRD decal. I think that or vice versa would go well with your color scheme.

My original plan was to do black with white decals. I took a shot with the orange and just figured I would paint over them if they didn't out well. Black with Silver would look sick on yours!

yeah red would look good on yours, especially with the black wheels. There are a ton of cheap kits in red you can go with

The fronts are holding up great so far. Been through 2 hand car washes and paint and decals are holding strong. I might hit it with more clear coat in a couple months to keep up the protection.
