Anyone got the OEM tow mirrors?

    Where are they made?

Bought a set off of flea-bay and owner claims he got it at a toyota dealer for over 400. Brown box just says 'made in taiwan'. I dont see the part number stickers on the inside.

Looks legit, how can we tell aftermarkets from OEM? thnx

does the box have any toyota markings? made in taiwan sounds like aftermarket mirrors. if it is toyota, there will be toyota part numbers on the box and it will say toyota printed on the box.

here's a picture of oem tow mirrors on the box they came in

When I bought my NON-OEM tow mirrors from 1AAuto they came in a basic brown box stamped MADE IN TAIWAN. You may have been duped into buying a non-OEM product. Can you post a pic of the box?

OEM are made in Mexico. That sticker under the harness in @nuclearlemon pic should state “Made in Mexico” and have a date stamp on it...

    Yea i was dooped.

Its looks just like the OEM ones tho.

With how large the box was, it woulda been annoying to return it so seller just refunded some money back and i was ok with it....actually turned out to be a great deal after the refund.

Already installed and taken for a ride. Seems ok...shakes a lil from high wind gusts but under normal wind, its ok.

Pro tip: On my old truck with the non-OEM tow mirrors, I stuffed a little high density foam (the black stuff) behind them to remedy the mirror shaking at highway speeds.
