All I did was scuff the surface with scotch-brite and clean it well. The reason I didn't do the bleach is because the Polane is an industrial coating and is very durable. If I was using spray paint or something comparable, I would have gone the extra steps.

Damn, I'm busy for 1 weekend and come back to have to catch up and read several pages. Good thing I'm bored at work today, haha. That cup holder ring is a cool touch. I got brighted by it the other day, it was crazy. What paint did you use if not spray paint? Wonder how it would look in red, hummm....

The paint is an industrial coating from Sherwin Williams that's mixed with a catalyst and sprayed with professional equipment.

Yep, well mine is Silver, but I want to add some red touches, like I did with the TUNDRA radio inserts. BTW, I got the new ones on that, but haven't been able to install yet to see how much better they fit.

Rowdy Ron and CM Lenny, thanks for pointing out the loose bolt. Had the stealership install since my running boards were being installed at the same time. That bolt was only on by a few threads. Fixed that right up. And in regards to the handling as all have said, the truck handles so much better. Thanks again guys!

Sure thing. I was thinking about 500-600 miles and re-checking end links and fasteners. Thanks.

I dont think I've seen one single mod that is uniformly agreed upon as the sway bar addition. I think for sure its my next mod!

Seeing that picture really puts into perspective how large pickups are nowadays. I wonder how much bigger will they get..

Learning of how easy it was to remove the center cup holder trim piece, I had to do it right away because while I can tolerate all the silver accents in the cab, I did not enjoy the chrome reflection.
Thanks again to you wonderful souls here on making dreams come true!

I went with the plasti dip option over paint, as I like the rubber feeling and it quiets down the rattles.
Now onto the pictures! Glorious pictures!!

Krezz, it looks good and I was thinking of going the same route. So how did you prepare it for plastic dip?

UPDATE: Got it done today. Looks much better and no glare.

Just wiped it down with a cloth. Gave it 4-5 coats I believe it was and then popped it back in. It won't see much action other than stuff in the cup holder itself. Looks much better imo.

yes, very much. I only had them on the truck for about 3 weeks, but in that short time I felt that they rode great and were quiet. I definitely would have got them again if they were offered in the size I wanted.

I have KO2s that came from Toyota with the TSS package. They are really great tires. I probably wont be looking at a lift and tires until I wear these out.

I wanted KO2's, but the General AT2's have really got my attention. Ive had nothing but Toyo for the last 10 years and they've always have treated me well but I kind of want to try something different this time around.
