    Banner/ HulkSmash, Chapter V: Slick & Dirty

    There's one job Bruce hates most but will do: axles. When he tore apart the front of the truck, I really did find it a bit scary. Definitely a leap of faith, when this was so far outside my experience.

    But then THIS happened! I got a glimpse into how knowledgeable Bruce is about this stuff-- not just swapping bolt-on components, but full re-build.

    I also got to see how patient :boink: he really is :rolleyes:. While he is a savage about getting things done once he starts, I never saw him throw a tool, even though there were times I was ready to duck. :eek:
    The first I recall, was during this axle build... damn C clamps-- do we even need them?!! :mad:

    Oh- I think these were the first of several tools he bought during this build.

    the first cut hurts the most. you just gotta rip it off. like a band aid. after that, it's just metal... :D

    i haven't cut that much off the truck. at least... not yet...

    kinda wish i was still in SD. would have been fun to hang out with you guys while this was coming together.

    Bruce has completed most of the magic for this stage of the build..., now it'd be you and him :cheers: while I'm over here :pccoffee:.

    Can't wait for you to come out though. I know of another really cool build :gossip: that may be coming this way soon.... Probably you could show up at Bruce's and be entertained by some cool project any time you come by! :headbang:

    Not exactly. I helped lend a hand separating a CV, but I've yet to need to even pull my own out. If that happens I'll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off :goingcrazy:

    (Not 100% true, I have the socket for the CV nut and watched, sucker requires a good tug to come free!)
