As some of you know I recently took delivery of 2017 TRD Pro, trading in 2015 Tundra Limited. Besides the exterior color and styling, and the interior trim (red stitched seats), my next favorite thing so far about the truck is the increased size of the gas tank. So far I have about 450 miles on it and yet to have to fill up and it is great. It has taken a little getting to use to with some of the interior features because it is a down grade to basically an SR5 in the electronics versus the limited. My Limited did have a dual zone a/c (which I don't miss but my wife does), heated seats, automatic headlights. The first time I drove my new Tundra at night it took me a minute to realize I didn't have the head lights on. All I all I am loving the truck so far and would absolute buy it again. Anyway that is my two cents fro what it is worth.

That's great to hear, I'm in the same boat. Waiting delivery of my PRO, just sold my '15 limited. It's gonna be a long wait though, delivery date isnt till end of January. But from what I hear, it's worth the wait.

I love the look of the Pro but dealers never had any available for sale so I bought a limited. The large fuel tank is great.

I was undecided about Pro vs. Limited as well. I went with the Limited because there were things I could add to a Limited that the Pro had. But there were things that the Limited had that I wouldn't be willing to go thru the trouble to add to a Pro. Plus quicksand wasn't available on the 17' Pro trim. Either way, both great trims.

when did you order it? I am pretty certain that I will have to go the special order route when I decide to buy.

I saw a thread awhile back, but i would like to put the automatic headlight option back in. I wish there was the option like the tacoma to turn off the DRL.

I called dealers looking for one and if they didn't have one I asked if they had one coming in. If they have one coming in, you typically can put a deposit on it if it is not presold. That is what I did after I kept getting beat out by locals to dealerships. Dealerships know if that have any allocated or ordered. If it's ordered they really don't have a clue as to when they may get it until it gets to port for the accessories. I learned so much about that part of the process from my dealer.
