will 15x12 weld rims fit on my 02 tundra like around the rotor and drum need to know ASAP cause I’m looking to get some and I’ve seen a 1st gen tundra with 15x12s with a -89 offset so I was wondering would it really fit???

Most likely not. Very few 15" wheels will fit over the calipers without a spacer or grinding down the caliper.

I don’t think 15” diameter wheels will clear the front brake caliper. I could be wrong, try doing a test fit without the tire if possible.with a spacer might work. Or try looking for 16” diva wheels...?..

Cause I wanted to do 20x12 but they don’t make a big lift for the 2wd 1st gen

I'd pass just because you're going to be looking at 13" wide tire at least and that's going to severely limit your tire selection.

I tried to put my 15" wheels from my Tacoma onto my Tundra but the rims where hitting the Calipers.
I dont think we can run 15's on our trucks.

I’ve been doing some research and if you shave the caliper a lil and put spacers on you should be good

Just buy 16" or bigger and not worry about it.

I admire the focus and determination from db99. Will it work in the face of experienced posters saying otherwise? Experience says probably not, but we’ll see! Post up pics! Prove us wrong.

I recommend heeding @Casper421's advice in reply #13. I doubt you'll hear from the guy you quoted - like so many, dude came, posted a few times about a specific question, then disappeared. Hasn't been seen in 4 years, as you see:

I wouldn't trust having 2" spacers with that offset on the highway, and that garish Carolina squat also, but maybe I'm just a prude... everyone has their thing. I'd go 16" and throw some meaty 33s or larger on them.

I’d personally do 17’s just so leave yourself the option for the big brake upgrade. Or you can do like me and buy 16s because you didn’t think you’d want to do that upgrade.
