    Might of been too much weight on the truck had to move two pallets. The truck took it like a champ.

    Follow up question I have to do this once more tomorrow should I worry about messing up the truck it’s a three mile trip and I go 20-25mph the whole way in tow haul mode

    I did the same thing with retaining wall blocks a couple weeks ago...

    Other than some squirly steering it handled it well. Mine was two loads if 100 22 pound blocks. So 2200 lbs each time.

    My tailgate cables are stretched a little.

    It’s like 350.00 for a set of airbags to help out in these hopefully rare instances. Hopefully save yourself thousands from rebuilding the rear end. It’s not a miracle cure but they add control and spread out the weight a little.

    I think you will be OK.

    Don't think it bottomed out, but I did get some new shackles soon after - started looking like negative rake soon after. Also a few years older than yours. There was also 10 bags of paver sand in there @ 40 lbs each,

    I believe the rear leafs are not the best or built for longevity, get fatigued over time and can begin to allow the rear to sag. heavy loads can stress the leafs, especially as they age.

    Viewing this thread has reminded me of why I strongly prefer to buy new. You’re never able to know what abuse the vehicle has had before you got it.
