It was pretty good. Had 14 trucks I think, We were in the parking lot for a solid hour and a half before a few of us got hungry and went to the BBQ down the road while the others either went home or went shopping at Bass Pro. @stewtopia posted a couple pictures in the meetup thread. I'll be setting up the next meet in western MA and I'm thinking either the Holyoke mall or Berkshire east. Holyoke is a nicer parking lot but berkshire would have a beautiful scenic drive up route 2 through charlemont. Berkshire also has ziplining and a mountain coaster so if people wanted to bring family and make a day out of it they could.

    Sounds good to me.
Is there a family oriented place? I'm with my wife and son, I'd rather not leave him alone.

Absolutely, tomorrow day isn't good, working for a livening sucks. Thursday night not good either ,unless you want to come to a book club meeting at a local brewery. I'll talk to my better half, plenty of places to socialize.

Yeah my daughter and wife had a car accident that totaled her car probably three years ago and ever since then if you slam the brakes on my daughter has flashbacks of it. So after my wife slammed the brakes and slammed the deer my daughter was in a balling fit.

yeah I just hope for her sake someday she can put it in the back of her mind to this day if someone pulls out in front of you and you slam your brakes on she is bawling and can hardly breathe.
Hell I've damn near been killed in a car wreck and it doesn't bother me one bit. Sure hope she can over come her fear.

What about Mahi Mas? One of my favorites for a long time. Kid friendly and good food.

I was in an accident 2 years ago with my friend as the driver, we're young and had recently got our licences so we were out doing stupid shit in his car...... in winter. we were definitely going too fast for the conditions and before we knew it we ended up getting dragged off the road by some pretty bad slush and snow. Sent us straight into a tree at 55mph. I was in the passenger seat with no seat belt on and got ejected through the windshield past the tree and into the snow. No airbags deployed (car had a recall for that very thing) and the car was totaled. friend got a pretty good concussion and I made it out with only some bruises and shallow cuts from the windshield. My friend still won't drive on that road in the winter but I have not learned. Wasn't my car, wasn't me driving, and I walked away without any major injuries. The experience didn't really set in with me like it did him. I still haven't been in an accident since then and I plan to keep it that way even though most people who've seen me drive would think otherwise

My bad accident was also hitting a tree at 50 mph I was driving an S10 Blazer and hit the tree on the drivers side frame rail. Bent the boxed frame 3 times ripped the transmission from the motor busted the transfer case off the transmission and sheared the driveshaft from the rear yoke. When it was all over the tree had stopped at the firewall and I had bent the steering column straight up against the windshield with my body.
