I got so mad when i went to the dealer to look at a pro and they didnt care about the extras on my truck so i minds well sell it to my fellow tundra fam and give them a stock truck back

 

Don't blame you one bit. I had a dealer tell me once that my lifted truck actually lowered the trade value, this was in a military town with tons of lifted trucks in the area mind you. I also noticed they had one of their new trucks lifted and showcased on the corner and told the guy "well then I guess that brand new one there should be nice and cheap!" I left, sold it myself...then bought my replacement truck from another dealership.

Sounds about right. Dealers don't care about your custom/aftermarket/ Accessories or x" lift that you've thrown so much of your money into.
They're not giving you an extra dime beyond their blackbook value. However they'll use your aftermarket parts as a selling point if it appealing to buyer.

 

Your 100% right. Toyota did that to me when i traded my supercharged 2ss camaro and told me it was most likely gonna be on their lot for a while. Bastards sold it for 29,000 to a highschool bud of mine from back in the day 2 days later. I handed him the spare key lol

 

Did that will my Jeep, took it home and stripped it down and didn't change the trade in value at all and I was able to make some cash

 

I"d like to add that this isn't just with Toyota. It's with every other branded dealership that you go to. They all operate with same common knowledge.
And it also other way around also, meaning if you go to Toyota and find a Used/traded in Tundra SR5 with TRD exhaust/airintake/ Etc. The dealership isn't going to price the truck higher because of those parts. The Truck is priced based on standard equipment and Whatever miles it has so in that scenario that buyer is in luck with those extra accessories.

 

You're trading in your truck? Does that mean you're selling your LED headlights as well eventually?

 

Those were sold and went back to halogen lol. Im not giving Toyota no extras if i can help it
