Hi ALL! New to the board... Sorry if a repeated question, but looking for info on downsizing wheels on my 1794 to 18" to have beefier tire look. Anyone know if this is possible? If this is a mistake, please time in and give your opinions.

    Thanks!

    Welcome!
Yes, a lot of guys change from 20" to 18", some even to 17" without problems. Bigger sidewall will give a softer ride (through bumps and potholes, but maybe lose a little stability around corners - although almost negligible)
You can generally upsize to 33" tires without modifications, and 34" with minor 3/1 leveling.

You can go as small as 17" for wheel size. Your tire size will depend o. The offset of your new wheels and if you lift or not. Welcome aboard!

I've got a leveling kit on it now. My worry was having an issue with brakes/calipers fitting in the 18" rim. Man, if I can run a set of 18" Fuel Vapors and 34" tires, I'll be ecstatic!

I have 18's on my 1794.... I think they look much better than the 20's and I don't feel the bumps as much as the 20's

Plus I didn't like the looks of the SimChrome 1794 wheels it came with..
