Tossed a bottle of "Deep Clean" fuel system cleaner for my outboard motor in the back seat after I got done messing around with the boat yesterday and this morning I realized that it was slowly leaking out into my backseat.

Now I'm left with a large area that is way darker (even though its dry now) than the rest of the seat.

Also have some ugly spots from the last year of abuse that I would like to get out. Anyone tried anything that has effectively cleaned these cloth seats?

I read over at tacomaworld.com that Woolite works really well. I bought some to do my Tacoma interior and haven't gotten around to it yet. Hope this helps.

Ouch, that sucks!!! Maybe try a carpet cleaner with the upholstery attachment? I've been thinking about doing that.

Also, I've learned from past trucks to NEVER put any container with liquid on the seats and ALWAYS get waterproof mats (got 3D KAGU MAXPIDER mats) as your FIRST mod!

Well thanks for the suggestions guys I have decided to just spill more of the same stuff on all of my seats so they are all the same shade once again.

J/k, coincidentally my dad called me a little while ago and asked me to take him to pick up his truck at a detail shop nearby. The guy that was helping him was the same guy that detailed my truck a few weeks ago when my ankle was broke. He hit it with some type of solution for free and said come back if it doesn't work. It hasn't dried up all the way yet, but already looks much better from what I can tell.

Thanks Ron, I still have my doubts that it will be completely gone once dry, but you can definitely already tell that it diluted it some and it won't be as noticeable. Maybe I can have them hit it once more later on if needed or rent a steamer as some suggested.

I'm not sure. IIRC, the person wasn't very detailed about the process.

I wouldn't listen to any of these asshats on this thread. This is what I would do:

-Buy a pull of bourbon or 12 pack of beer. I like a good whiskey...

-Take at least two shots of whiskey first. Trust me on this.

-Second, take the special someone in your life and give them a pull (wink wink), and then take a shot of whiskey.

-Third, take another shot of whiskey for general purpose, but do you really need an excuse for a shot?

-Fourth, just spread "deep clean" fuel system cleaner all over the upholstery to make it all match. Duhhhhh???!!!! Take two more shots.

-Fifth, if you can still read this, you might want to go seek help for alcoholism....and take two more shots.

-Sixth, sleep it off and maybe the stench of the deep clean injection cleaner will be gone.

Good enough to clean your injection system, good enough to clean your interior.

Should have done this during the FSU game the other night that way I wouldn't have to drink all that whiskey twice!

Please let me know if anything helped to get the stain out. Your interior looks exactly like mine, just wondering if I could unzip the seats and throw them in the wash. My seats stain so easily even raindrops stain them worse interior I have ever had.

I use Shout laundry cleaner diluted with hot water in a spray bottle. I mist the whole seat surface and wipe off with a clean white terry cloth or towel. You'd be amazed how much comes up.... I've also used baby wipes as well for soda spills, works amazing but for the big jobs I go with the shout. Haven't had any adverse effect thus far.

You should check with the Toyota dealership. When I purchased mine they had put a Ziebart fabric protectant. Anytime I get a stain I take it to the dealership and they clean it and remove the stain free of charge.

I use Folex. Somtimes it takes a few treatments but it has gotten up any stains thus far on my '16.
