This picture thread is for the tundras that get S@&t done. It’s to show that a half ton truck is very capable and can haul, tow, and work. This isn’t a thread about lifts or wheels and tyres(if you truck works with that stuff great). If you have accessories to help you get work add them to the thread. Let’s prove to the nay sayers that the tundra is more then a grocery snatcher!!!4F036BF3-72EE-48C2-8ED8-B84C728DEC7C.jpg

dude, look at the specs of your vehicle, it's ~1600 pound payload ect. Then compare it to a real truck, one that can actually haul stuff. I'm not talking about a few hundred pounds of welding gear, a little garden tractor with a bucket, or your dads 18' sea ray lol that IS groceries. Our tow limit is 10,000 pounds, which means about 8000 of that is safely useful for anything more than a short drive.

I mean, real actual work. Personal Example #1: 32' Regulator (not "big" by any stretch) plus trailer, 14,000#, tow w/ F350 - Tundra, unusable.
Personal Example #2: New Holland L234, just 9000#, a compact machine for small construction work, can't tow it with tundra.

Our trucks are great for daily driving, moving around some tools, towing little things or tiny boats sure... but that's about it.
another example, tundra need not apply
    [IMG]

and dont give me that space shuttle crap either, any vehicle with 400 ft pounds of torque could do that, no tundra required... :)
I dont make my tundra out to be something its not...

Great idea for a thread. There seem to be a lot of mall crawlers here and not many people who use their truck for truck stuff.

This is mine, plowing the road, and going down the same road, (my driveaway) sans plow, a couple months later.

This response is for b737, how many of these so called " real trucks" you talking about have Diesel engines? Probably about "ALL" of them! If I wanted a diesel , I would have bought one! Another case of comparing a apple to a orange. If and when Toyota puts a Diesel in a Tundra , that smack talk will end fast! Try something like the fastest 1/4 mile ever recorded by a factory truck 2007 Toyota Tundra Limited 4x4 with TRD bolt on super charger - 4.4 secs look it up. I'm on my 4th Tundra and love gas engines, they have "never" let me down! And if heavy towing was how I gauged a truck by, don't think I would have bought a Tundra to begin with. I'm a general contractor in the Asheville area which is nothing but steep grades and curbs, not concedered heavy but I do tow a 16' dual axle tool trailer and a 24' panga boat neither of which cause my Tundra any grief what's so ever, and I go up these hills the speed limit as I do down. And you might want to mention also that these other so called "real trucks" have to add thousand of dollars worth of extra parts in order for these trucks to be "real". If and when Toyota decides to enter the world of " heavy towing" it will be as it is with the gas engine trucks of today, they will be the badest truck on the hill!

2018-12-31 10.50.21.jpg Pulling about 9,500#. Trailer is a beast and weighs 5000# and the Kubota is a little over 4K#. Truck has more than enough ass to pull it over the Shenandoahs at speed.
