The gf surprised me with a bend tent from auto anything. The Deluxe Napier. Definitely love it, has a lot of room in the inside.

Hand tightened the stubby. Where’s that tool again? I think I lost mine, used a towel and vise to remove the stock antenna. Black looks dirty 90% of the time but so reflective after a wash/wax.

Not much antenna use when the kids take over:

Please show the fender guards installed. How difficult would you say it was making these? I'm in need of these badly. You should make some additional and sell. :D

I take it this is the one that AutoAnything says will not work with the Tundra? Can you send a link to the one you do have? I like the idea of starting with this before jumping full blown into the RTT.

I used a grinder and some 26ga sheet metal. That’s it! Pretty easy actually. Just some time bending to line up the holes before spraying. 76425A13-D3C0-47AC-8A3A-A2B7F3911934.jpg B5D18A61-6EF2-4F1B-89EA-3DB3F83310FA.jpgD637E873-3B78-4904-946C-F1C5299EDB9C.jpg B351E90D-9B1D-4992-8983-AE0D48A582E8.jpg7A6D62AC-FEDB-4066-8044-97BC071E0FD6.jpg

Decided I needed a little more color to match the center caps, so I hit up @DecalsByDesign for a little help. As always, he did amazing work.

Just so u know, theres products out there that u can just lay down and wipe off that will bring it back to back.

This is it. Great stuff. While your at it you can bring all the plastic back to life, both inside and out, and also make your tires look amazing.

Nice work Geno, one thing to remember using tin is that the inner fender and frame will flex a lot and might loosen/shear your bolts off over time.

Looks much better, you would think they could make a plastic that wouldn't fade after a couple years .Bothers me we spend how much for these trucks and cannot make 5 years without faded plastic. It's not just Toyota, all manufacturers, just lame.

I'm sure there's many good ones out there. I'm guessing anyone of them gotta be easier, faster and with less risk than painting it. No offense, I'm just trying to help him out. I love the waxaddict, it is my go to for plastic rejuvenation and tire shine. Even with the million nubbies on my tires, I can restore all the plastic and shine up the wheels within a hour. You just want to make sure you work it in and don't put too much on plastic or u will get run Mark's when it rains. Don't ask me how I know. I specifically love it for tires because theres no sling. It also dont make them look greasy, just enough to make them pop. When of course they dont look like they do right now. This was today with my firewood splitter helper.

Crap! I did drill my holes on the small side too. Maybe I’ll drill them out wider so they’ll allow for movement. Thanks for the info!

No offense taken at all. I wasnt tryin to one up, but it might have seemed like it now that i read it. Lol the solutions finish is strictly for plastic faded. I might have to check out that wax addict because you can use it for tires too. The solutions finish is pricey. Thanks for the info.

That no sling is what i do love about what you suggested. That’s so annoying after spending hours cleaning the truck

I heard a lot of people use that wax addict on their tonneau covers too
